What does it all mean?

So besides making us feel better are any of Tony V's calls to action going to change anything?

What about Tony P and Tony C?

Yeah, honestly, it's hard to say without being on the inside.

For all we know, the suits on the other side are only concerned with the bottom line and it's already been written off but no one has had the heart to say or even they haven't been told.

Or it very well could have touched someone that, hey, maybe we are killing something that was working and they're willing to listen to alternatives to a full shut down.

Or it's convinced them that it's worth saving though perhaps they don't want to continue on as the publishers and they may be willing to work out some form of transfer, etc.

Again, it could go a million ways and any number of those could mean what we do is pointless but equally it could very well tip the scales or just aid in the effort. We really don't know until we hear the end of it (Or the new beginning, etc).

At the very least, it has shown the devs how well loved they were and how much we enjoyed the work they gave us. That alone, at least in my book, counts for something because any creator can tell you that it's sometimes enough to just know that someone likes your work and the simple fact is we've written Paragon Studios a forlorn love letter with our efforts. I'm more than certain they understand how well this community appreciated them and what they gave us. So even if, in the end, the game is dead and gone, we can say we touched a few lives and let them know they were important to someone. That's something neither we nor they will forget.

i think its still potentially too early to really know what the outcome will be

this is only week 3 since announcement, and iirc we didnt know the devs had even started talking with ncsoft until week 2

internation business deals are not something that will happen overnight, i think its possible we may not hear anything on the results of these negotiations for another 1-2 weeks at least unless we are all lucky and a decision is reached sooner

Really, it all means that, when all is said and done, those of us who feel strongly about this and acted upon it will feel satisfied in knowing that we did what we could and did not simply fold.
That's not to say that failing to continue CoH will be okay, but I'll always act against what I feel I must, because I don't want to wish that I had done so later on.

The fact that the guy who's supported us for all of these years by making sure that the paragonwiki and mids and all of that was there for us... That just makes the perfect focus of our attention.
Really though, he's just another one of us and it is up to all of our efforts and not just his.

If it's just his efforts, we'll never succeed (well, unless he's got millions to independently buy and fund the game, hehe).

..or it just means that letting go is ******* hard. Either way I give TonyV big props for his efforts.

OK stick with me here...

Until we know, we don't know.

Until somebody who officially knows tells us, we don't know.

Until somebody officially says no, yes is still an option.

Until somebody officially says yes, no is still an option.

Paragon's fate is not entirely in our hands at this point. All we can do is watch, and wait, and keep making noise.

And, since we have so much time on our hands at the moment, I'm sure there's a Task Force out there somewhere that needs doing.

We're not dead yet.
