Things will look bleak until NCSOFT gets the Korean version of a tax write off for closing the game....when that is done, then and only then, will they think about selling it to someone.

I guess to NCSOFT, the tax write off is too juicy a fruit.

What we need to do is keep banging our save City Of Heroes drums, so that when this day comes, American game companies interested in bidding or whatever they do to acquire a game, will know this game still has a fan base.

I don't know..life sucks sometimes.

I am playing Guildwars 2, and everyday I understand more and more of it..enough to start crafting, and have a Ranger Assura as my fav character...but...I am still emailing,and doing what I can to save City Of Heroes.

I swear, I will be one of the first in line to buy a sub if this game is saved....and by George, I will graze freely in the cash shop...which I did anyway, but, I will buy more than before, for the health of the game.

Hope the fan base last a year or so. And hopefully not many feel that all trust in MMOs went down the tube. Unlike many other MMOs, there were many people where this was their first MMO and many after this fiasco said it may be their last. While others even if the game is sold down the line, it assumes the new company isnt looking at what COX was at say i7 or pre-i13 and expect that much of a return, or even levels that matches the levels prior to Aug. 30th and if those levels are not met, end up immediately dropping the game again and back in the same boat, especially if the engine is not updated or something done to it to overhaul it.
