I really thought we'd go the route of Anarchy online and get a small server or two. This MMO has a great following and like me go away for a month or so and then we need another fix.
I hope some money man puts together most or all of CoHs dev team on a new project. If they advertise it, I'm sure most of us would try the game.

Regardless, I don't think it's realistic to believe that NCSoft will just change its mind.
The should be, their game is next.

And yes, so many of my friends with 7-8 years playing 1. took breaks from CoH (either to try other MMORPGs for a whle or simply got RL busy) but 2. always came back to CoH and counted on it as something they could always return to, usually with renewed enthusiasm.
aka @Kristoff von Gelmini, leader of small SG bases (Infinity/Victory/Virtue/Protector), member of The House of Tera (Justice) and various others (Champion/Infinity/Victory/Guardian/Freedom).
I'm a big altoholic, and filled one server including all purchasable slots (up until the recent issue which expanded it again) and about half the total slots on all other servers.
In lieu of any really new MMO that I like, I've been cycling between COH, Champions, Eve, D&D, and WoW, though I haven't touched WoW since 2008.
All these other games, though, have been dead to me for at least 2 years now and I have no desire to go back to any even temporarily. Tera is so-so but doesn't feel like it will make it to this inner circle of games. So I really don't know what I'm gonna do.

yeah it could be any game as it always been but hopefully their eyes are open now and realize that MMOs are not like console games now and MMOs lives are not totallt infallible. So no more putting stuff off until tomorrow or spending life savings expecting it to be there for ever.

Yeah, I would jump ship from Aion. It really isnt that good of a game anyways from what I'm hearing. And I've also heard it's gone F2P and knowing NCsoft that is pretty much a death mark for a NA game.
Also, I wouldnt be investing in Blood & Souls either, or whatever that NCsoft martial arts MMO is.
If something like that interests you, I would look at Age of Wushu or Age of Wulin.
I think 2013 is going to be a very bad year for NCsoft, and it's deservedly so.
