Frostfire alignment question
There are several Tip missions which feature Frostfire at various points along his transition to being a Hero. Tips are broken down into level ranges, and you'll encounter missions featuring the character arc you summarized in the corresponding Tips for that level range.

Yeah there's a number of tips that feature him.
A 20-29 hero tip sees him trying to throw a party, you trash it and take him back to the zig (assisting an as yet Heroic Dr. Quantum).
I -believe- the 20-29 Rogue Morality missions sees him trying to cut a deal to earn some cash so he can start turning to good, with the Rogue player character outdoing him.
I forget what the 30-39 brings. At least nothing jumps to mind with Hero and Villain tips.
40-50 sees him working alongside Longbow (helping you defend a Longbow base against a Malta attack) and helping you defeat a Nemesis Automaton of the Player alongside Miss Thystle.
You see it with a number of characters in Tips actually. Like Doc Quantum in the 20-29 range is still a hero, by 30-39 he's turned vigilante. Silent Blade begins as a villain and turns rogue. Desdemona starts as a villain, goes rogue and goes all the way to be a hero. Miss Thystle does similarly.
Really I like the tip missions for how they flesh out the world and a number of C-list characters. I hope we get some more eventually
Ah, that explains it. I didnt start doing tip missions until late 30's. Thanks guys!

Spoiler Warning.
Also in the villain level 50 morality mission "me myself and my other self" aka "learn where your master plan went wrong" you and frostfire sort of repeat the journey of Statesman/REcluse with the well and both gain divine power. Time travelling twice the current you doing the mission teams up with two future versions of yourself and kill a heroic forstfire. But as a villain the future you goes increasingly mad over time eventually destroying everything and being the only thing left in an empty universe, whereupon you repent and send a warning back in time to do it differently by letting Frostfire get all the power instead of splitting it (assuming that as a hero he wouldn't go insane), causing the events of the mission. However your past self (the you doing the mission) has other plans...

Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
I know some people may curse at me for saying this, but it's probably best if you don't expect continuity in the game.
Just play it episodically and take it as it comes.
It might be neat to add a contact to various zones in appropriate level ranges, a Tipster who allows you to do do the Tip missions "in order" to get a little better story, maybe with some text from the Tipster to tie things together a bit.
These aren't "tips", just the same missions with regular mish rewards. It's for story/arc only.
Add the Tipsters to Ouroboros and then any character can do the missions at each level so they can check out the story.

At least with this suggestion, it could very well be a nice story arc showing the moral regression (or progression) of a character. If that character is Frostfire instead of my own, I can live with that.

Somebody should add this idea to the list of requests on the Beta server forum, if the idea seems popular. Even if they can't get to it in time for i24 they sometimes add ideas to a list for implementation in later issues.
Make it so, oh ye VIPs!

Since I happen to work as a software engineer and I happen to know how bug reports work, I know beta is the correct place for suggestions. I've seen several of my suggestions in past CoH betas worked into later issues. It's the normal way things function--suggestions from one beta are forwarded to software engineering in later releases. And it's the same for all software--accounting, internet, games, etc.

I'd disagree with you on that - beta is a testing environment. If the suggestion specifically relates to the issue being tested then the beta forum would be appropriate. If on the other hand it relates to a live problem which is not addressed by the issue released to beta then it definitely has no place on the beta forums.
The suggestion here relates to what would be new functionality - i.e. it will not be anything being currently tested in beta. This would be a feature request and the place for that is the Suggestions forum where apart from anything else it won't get wiped out after testing is completed.

Well, all I can say is I've seen it work exactly the opposite. I made suggestions in closed beta 9-11, and they showed up later. And that's normal and standard practice for the software industry.
Since it's been proven to work this way, I don't know why folks keep saying it doesn't. Anything in beta that you find doesn't work the way you like, you should leave feedback on. It doesn't matter if live works the same way. Problems in beta are there to be discussed, and should be commented on. That includes the way mission givers and NPCs in missions work.
Minor spoilers about alignment mission follows
So I was doing a hero tip mission, something about warning a longbow base that a malta assault was incoming. I get there and talk to the base commander, and lo and behold Frostfire is randomly standing there, says if I'm here something big is going down, and joins me.
This came as somewhat of a surprise to me, as the last time I'd seen the guy was when I busted him somewhere around level 15 as a gang boss.
Err... wut?
So I checked the wiki, and it says this:
In the 1-9 level range Frostfire is a Villain and the leader of the Outcasts. After his arrest at the end of Flux's story arc, he remains imprisoned during the 10-19 level range. In the 20-29 range, he is once again free and attempting to regain his lost respect. In the 30-39 level range, he becomes disillusioned with what he's become and seeks to redeem himself, becoming a Rogue. In the 40-50 range, he has finally overcome his dark past and becomes a Hero.
So my question is where does this information come from? Were there arcs that I missed, or is this arbitrary information to explain his presence as a hero?
Thanks folks!
