Getting More Power Pools?

Hello:

I'm a Dark Melee Scrapper and at level 24 right now. I got my first power pool at level 4 (Concealment), and I've read that you eventually get more. I know you get one in the early 30s (32?). What about the other two?

For some reason, I couldn't find this info on the wiki.

Thanks!

The Epic power pools (APPs and PPPs) can be taken as early as 35. These don't cout as one of your four power pool choices.

Once you hit 4, you can take power pools (up to four) whenever you get a power pick. Just hit that "Power Pool" bar up on the top to go back to the big list.

Power pools are available at level four, and you can take as many as four different pools at anytime after that. (Note, pools not powers. You can take as many powers from those four pools as you like.)

You can right now take Speed (for Superspeed) or Jumping (for Combat Jumping and Super Jumping) and any three other pools besides Concealment that you want. You can take them up to level 50 too, if you want to take one last power to round a character out.

What pool powers are you thinking of taking?

Thanks to you both.

Embarrassingly, I'd forgotten about the Power Pool bar/button and had been waiting, thinking I had to earn another pool.

I was actually thinking of Jumping specifically for Combat Jumping, which I like from my Praetorian character. I've got a Jetpack that's listed as an Inherent Power...somehow. It showed up in my mailbox after I logged on last month. I hadn't logged in since 2009. If it doesn't disappear, Super Jump would probably be a waste. If it does disappear, Super Jump will be something to pick up.

Or I could just get Fly. Again, depends on whether or not I get to keep the jetpack.

Teleportation seems useful. Mission Teleporter takes forever to charge. Then again I don't team that often. Speed would get me an area effect power...

None of them offer ranged attacks, do they? I'm really missing them as a Scrapper.

Normal power pools don't really offer much, think of most of them as more utility powers to round you out, or the travel powers.

As a scrapper you won't see ranged attacks until your epic power pools, which, as was stated, open up at 35.

Don't get wirlwind. And if you get a respec drop concealment (penalises too much for what it gives). Best powers to get for scrappers in mission are combat jumping, tough and weave for defense, hasten for recharge and air superiority for knockdown. For travel all of them are good but if you go fly it's worth your while to get afterburner as well.
You can get ranged attacks from app/ppp sets.

It would be interesting to see Origin specific pool powers (relegated, of course, to the Origin you chose.)

I don't think we'll ever see pools restricted by your origin.

The upcoming Sorcery pool will likely be available to everyone regardless of origin... especially since it's most likely a purchased power pool.

One can only hope they'll make some sort of purpose out Origins

Who knows they might... but I don't think they will do anything that arbitrarily limits the options of things people may want to purchase on the market... the more people who can use something the more they are likely to sell.

The way to make everyone* happy would be to sell a pool where each power has slightly different effects based on the character's origin, kind of like Blackwand/Nem Staff.

*Obviously it wouldn't make everyone happy. This isn't my first day among either humanity OR gamers.
