I was expecting an Iron Fist movie of a different sort.

I'm a huge fan of old school kung fu flicks and even own the original Iron Fists movie, but this one looks a bit on the corny side. And the Rza shouldn't act... at all. Having a dude that sounds like hes from a NY project in feudal china just doesn't seem... right to me.
Anything by Tarantino is worth a look see... I do not know original movie at all but this seems like a fun flick to see just for the mindless violence

Its not a Tarentino movie; RZA actually co-wrote, directed and acted in this flick. It's kind of like when the Wu-Tang Clan started 'presenting' a slew of old school kick flicks.

After watching the trailer: I may check it out if it ever hits Netflix, but if that horrible music is omnipresent I may not be able to finish watching it.

This has been in the works for some time. Some very good casting in my view, even RZA. He has excellent martial arts background and sense for the genre. Cung Le is also quite bad-***. I think it'll be a fun rental/stream.
As some others I expected this Iron Fist. Ray Park was once anounced as Daniel Rand. Never heard anything after that.
