Magi farm
Like any other trial, I suspect, if you form it, they will come.
Some folks like to complete it - like me. However, after a slew of really hard way runs, sometimes a farm is just what ya need to unwind.

Yes, Magi Farms are ran on this server. You can even do it with the minimal of twelve. Anyone can form it, I'm sure you can too.

I'm sure I could, but I'm guessing cause of the blockbuster event no one responded when I called out forming a baf earlier tonight.
Now that the lights bug is fixed, it's easy enough to run the entire trial. Full run Magis are still being formed. I'm assuming since the Summer Blockbuster Event launched just yesterday, people were focused on that last night. So don't worry, you'll get your runs in.

G'luck with your Magi farm(s).
Just a heads-up, these won't be advertised in ChampioNexus.

Hmm, took it more as a "You better not post this on our channel" but now thinking you meant more of a "I wont be reposting this like I do everything else that gets called out". Point is it wont be on there either way.
Perhaps. I have at least 2 toons that I need to get unlocked. So about 10 runs. One of those being on my second account which isnt always subbed so getting that one done asap is the current agenda. Cant really imagine anyone sticking around for 5 full runs straight tho. :/ Again prolly my fault for taking a couple week break when my sub lapsed right after launch of the new issue. I was getting burned out. No doubt 5 runs straight was the norm the first couple days of the trial.
From my understanding and from running Magi, unless the group is spiffed out in their level shifts and all of that other sparkle-filled crap, it would seem I would get a better reward farming the 250 than running the whole thing. This means I can unlock the Hybrid and use the other Trials for components, unless you like going through maybe an hour? (I haven't quite timed it) for just an extra 6% for completion (The 250 seems to give about 18-25%). You may also use the minimum number of twelve to start, which is a plus.
Unless you need or care for the badges, you may want to farm for a faster Hybrid gain, four to six quick farms runs should unlock the slot.
Keep in mind this is my own personal opinion, I am in no way telling you of which way to run your Trial if you do form one. I just find that it is a better gain for myself to unlock the Hybrid slot quickly, and use practically easy BAF or Lambda runs with less people for crafting salvage.

Speaking of timing and bang for buck and all that...is Magi the only trial that forces you to watch a cutscene whether you've completed it before or not? I wonder why that is. It's probably the least interesting of the scenes, anyway.

And no, there has't been a new trial with an opening cutscene since they became skippable. (Keyes came out at the same time.)
I thought Lambda skipped, and Lambda's scene doesn't happen until after you go for the acids/nades?
I think it was more a bit of both, since I'm fairly certain any type of farming announcements are frowned upon in Nexus.

And it is. And by 'frowned upon' meanin' it's grounds for moderation.
Just wanted to clarify additionally. Not intended to disrupt the thread any further.

Thanks Amy for the magi runs tonight. Have 90% on the first toon. Just gotta work on another and possibly one more after.
I'll have to debate if I can lead it tho. Seems simple enough but on the 2 runs tonight my comp was having a hard time during the 4 AV fights. graphics kept slowing down cause my video card isnt the best. Either that or my memory is getting tied up. Still trying to figure out exactly which the problem is. :/

If you're running Windows 7, next time you run a trial, run the Resource Monitor in the background (Start->Search programs and files->type 'resource monitor'). It'll display what's eating up the most memory and CPU cycles. It won't show what your graphics card is up to, unfortunately, but there's a freeware desktop gadget that makes up the difference.
@Demobot
Also on Steam
The CPU can also be a bottleneck.

Hopefully I can figure out what the issue is with the graphics when I run the game Mac side. My desktop is a Mac and I run windows with bootcamp for Mids and now COH. Running Vista btw.

Vista.
In all seriousness as I run in Vista as well, I am guessing the PC you are running the game on has at least 2 GB as the game is memory heavy. I would also turn the graphics down to about Minimal to Performance depending on the Graphics card, I run with a 9800 Gtx and can run Ultra fine except for Atlas, I blame the trees. You may also try Game Booster if you think some other processes are running in the background that may be slowing you down, I use it when I play APB as that game is a horror sometimes.

4 gigs of memory. NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT.
Never considered gaming when I bought the computer. :/
Your memory is fine, I would try lowering the graphics card as mine used to chirp like crazy on Undergrounds until I fixed it (you don't want to know). Or you can simply shoot it, throw it out the window, or make a perfect re-gift. You can also simply give Game Booster a try if the above options do not fit your taste or Demo's suggestion.

Thanks for the tip on game booster. I was able to up the graphics without my screen blowing up. I didnt leave it on those settings tho. I did notice when I had it analyze my system it said I had 2000mb of memory. Which I believe amounts to 2 gigs. I'm supposed to have 4. :/

Do these happen on our server?
I have a couple characters that need hybrid unlocked. Thinking maybe not being subbed for the last couple weeks might have ruined my chances since everyone probably has their new shinys by now.
