Cornerstone badge

In the Brickstown safeguard mission, there is an exploration badge. I have vidiot maps and have looked in numerous CoH sites. I have even used the 'reveal' power, but the location shown for the badge is outside the actual boundary of the mission. I know I've obtained the badge for other toons, and recently a team member TP'd us to the badge, but can't get to it with my oldest toon, a lvl 40 scrapper I made when I first started playing six years ago.
How do I get to the badge? Is there a secret entrance to that part of the zone?

Perhaps unrelated, this toon is the only one I have that does not show team members on the map screen.

What server are you on? I've never heard of it drawing new map boundaries, so if it's one I'm on, I'm willing to log in and try it with you sometime and see what happens.

It's on Infinity.

Sorry, no toons on Infinity. But really, it should not be outside the map boundaries. There's not a consistent line on one side of the map...are you sure it's outside the boundary?

My toon runs into a zone boundary, even though the map (reveal) shows the badge is ahead, and inside the boundary shown on the map.

Ther map(s) show the badge inside the zone boundary, but my toon runs into a boundary not on the map.

I've tried the mission twice so far with this toon, same problem.

I'm saving a lvl 38 mission for another try.

What is your loc and what is the loc of the badge?

Are you referring to the /loc command?

The badge /loc is (-406, 0, -129) according to Vidiotmaps.com

I've only tried heading toward the badge location shown on the map. I run into a typical zone boundary before getting to the badge location.

The problem is that the in-game map is screwed up on some mayhem and safeguard missions. Somehow the scaling is off so that, while you're moving, the map thinks you're someplace that you actually aren't. I first noticed this phenomenon when Atlas Park got revamped and the boundary was missing from the SG/MH maps.

The best solution you have when you run into this situation is to have access to the map separately (either printed out or Alt-Tab to a web site) and simply look at your surroundings as you move around the map until you arrive at where the badge should be. In this case, go straight east along the street until you come to the second intersection. Turn right and the badge will be under the electric tower on your left.

I found the badge this morning.
The in game map is wrong.
Both using the /loc command and/or refering to a printed out Vidiotmap worked.

Mine are good upuntil the two mentioned. But since I run the banks often I just learned them by memory. /loc wins on this., but memory wins even better. Also, there is a slightly crazy way to look at the map and figure where the badge should be based on how the map is out of skew, but maybe I'm the only one crazy enough to see in that particular dimension.
