Nope.

Just like Freezing Rain, Glue Arrow summons a pet with an auto power that casts a debuff with a duration of 30 sec. The pet itself self-destructs after 30 sec but if it manages to hit you with its power, the effect lasts 30 sec regardless. Stationary targets can be debuffed for 30 sec + 30 sec.

Well PPD Ghost can be annoying...especially when it stacks? I think they can stack I haven't fought them in quite some time. They also love using glue arrow. You want to talk about unfair baddies what about an ALL COT GHOST MISH! *shudder* It's down right painfulll when you are in the low to mid levels.

Stunners are super annoying BUT I don't think that they should be nerfed. Just look out for them. They are very sneaky because...

  1. They avoid closing in/melee range...which is interesting since Freakshow LOVE to get in your face.
  2. They try to take out the troublesome one on team...and they do succeed since most toons don't have protection from -end mod.
  3. Their Static Field used to do damage, -end, sleep and slow...that my friend was tough times lol.
Just be happy that they are not normally paired up with Meat Doctors...Meat Doctors are a force to be reckoned with as well and should not be taken likely! They deal NASTY DOT, high dmg, poison dmg, -regen, they heal and they Rez!



Just take them out first and keep your distance! If you're a melee toon try to use your blackwand or nemesis staff to defeat him or ask the Ranged toons on the team to keep their eyes peeled and to take him out as soon as possible.

Yeah, PPD Ghosts are very cheat-y I think. The -30% tohit AND -30% def?! Really?!

Oh yeah...it can stack too...

Seriously they are my primary targets when I'm doing those type of missions. If I get hit by one of those; I just sit out the rest of the fight (depending; but especially true if I'm solo). Real fun


The other 'cheaty' mob is Longbow Lieutenants when they get their -res grenade(s).

That power does -res...okay no big deal right? Oh wait, there is that 1-3 second hold that is at the very beginning of the attack...Hmm, TA's -res field doesn't do a hold....weird...

Also the fact that if there are more than 1 lt in a group; all Lts can fire the grenade off for 3 x the -res! Ugh...


I think they should be like the CoT Behemoths (the +def invincibility toggle ones) where only 1 -res grenade can be used from that mob group.

For the record, Super Stunner rez drains 22.5 end, applies a -100% recovery debuff for 15 seconds and deals Scale 1.0 melee damage (for a level 50 boss, that's 385.52 points of damage).

I don't think they are all that bad compared to the big offenders (quartz crystals, nemesis stacking vengeance, master illusionist phase shift) but that power does break the rules: it deals significant autohitting damage which critters are not supposed to do except in special circumstances. The drain itself is large enough to be annoying, but it breaks no rule to be annoying.

Most annoying thing for me is that I now have to farm freak tanks in TV for my freedom phalanx accolade (full team sister p plus a couple radios used to do it). Super stunners should count for the badge.

FWIW, Knives, along with MA critters who have Caltrops, were "fixed" a few issues back. The damage will still pile up, but the slow no longer stacks, so standing in 5 caltrop patches only slows you the same amount as 1, instead of dropping you to the run speed floor and making it impossible to get out.

It was one of the first applications of some new tech (added circa Going Rogue IIRC) that allows for specific effects of the same power to not stack across separate casters, rather than just "from same caster".

2 Penny Yin TFs will do it.

I got Tank Buster by accident running it while it was the WTF.

And Stunners don't count because they aren't Tanks. Same way Warhulks don't count for Unveiler.

Oh, I remember my current most hated!

Carnie Ring Mistresses, with the Mask effect that does -50 Base End (As in, it halves your end bar TOTAL) and about -50% Defence. Seriously? So, even softcapped defences are smacked? That's bad on an Invul Tank, where half end and no defences leaves you rather open, but on a purely Defence based character? That's....well, that's just bloody stupid. And it last a fair old while, too.

Don't forget it debuffs your regen and recovery too.

Theres a reason carnies are the main nemesis of my elec/regen stalker. Carnies were always a super pain for him. If mask of vitiation hit him, it was a triple threat. Practically every attack would hit, his recovery would be shut down, and the only thing he'd have left to use was his heals. This was before Regen got -regen resists though. Haven't played him since.
