Also, reading some of my posts reflecting on the difficulties and pain Statesman had been enduring at that point, it really makes his willingness to just die make all the more sense, and all the more sad.
Deep down, he knew it was a hopeless fight for him, that he would always lose... And he still kept fighting anyway until his wife pointed out even if he did survive Wade's trap, he could look forward to another one hundred years of jobbing like a girl in Naturo or Bleach.

I say to myself "Hello Night elf druid.." Ok he do not have that ear size and well have hooves, but other then that...
