True Blood, Season 5
I still really hate "Sanguinistas". /shudder
And I don't buy that the Authority is sincere about mainstreaming. They all seem a little too into the Vampire Bible. I think it's all a political ruse. My guess is mainstreaming is merely a way to "fatten up and calm the herd" before the slaughter.
Oh yeah, and Pam. Just let her fry. I know you're having maker issues right now. Please, for all of us, let Tara burn to ash. Please.

Jason's flip-flopping this season so far is completely implausible.
"I'm taking you home and dropping you off, because I don't want to just sleep with you."
"Remember how you had sex with me when I was a minor? That was the best thing ever for me. Let's do it."
"Remember how you felt guilty up until right before we had sex 5 minutes ago? Well, brace yourself..."
Too much drama for the sake of having drama. They should just focus on the other story lines they've got going on. They obviously could use the attention.
@Rylas
Kill 'em all. Let XP sort 'em out.
Momma Bear Pam and Baby Bear Tara - If Tara can give up the emo victim BS, she'll be worth watching as a character again. And if anyone can beat that out of her, it's Pam. Hopefully she'll use a paddle.
Jason, the fairy sex god - I haven't read the books, but I read on a wiki somewhere that Jason's luck with the ladies, in part, stems from his fairy lineage. If in his self-discovery he realizes that and starts acting like a grown-up, then great. He's a goofball, but I like the kid.
Sookie's magical fairy ****** ropes a werewolf - Because, you know, that's got to happen at some point.
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.
Remember how the whole Mavayette plot line seemed a little forced last season? But then you see it was needed to show how Lafayette and Jesus' magic works so the final fight with marnie wasnt forced. they have even tied that plot line in to this season with terry and patrick bc terry blamed the fire on mavis. Mental Maiden, have faith, if it seems jumbled now just remember how good this show is at tying in multiple plot lines together and cant even truly be appreciated until you go bqck and watch the whole season again after watching the following season. i am a trubie and i enjoy rewatching almost as much if not more than the current.

Some book spoilers..................................... although at this time I don't think they really relate to the show. Still I'll warn.

I wonder if maybe Tara ends up being the roomate of Sookies that gets into the relationship with Pam instead of the witch from New Orleans? It would explain the inclusion of her sudden change in lifestyle last season and allow them to compress a character that they haven't introduced yet.

That is a good guess MM. Although I don't think Tara wants to be anywhere near Sook. Also, Amelia and Pam were never very serious and as far as TrueBlood goes, it does not get much more serious than Maker-Progeny. I am so glad it is TrueBlood season again. I want lion Sam! (the maxine fortenberry lioness comment last season to sam made me chuckle)
I think one or both things will happen. They have been leading up to a personality change in Pam for a while now and these flashbacks show why it will happen. I think she will take Tara under her wing and start to act as her maker.
If she doesn't and maybe even if she does, Tara will end up joining Russell and showing the world what monsters vampires are especially since they have made her the very thing she hates. What better way to have them destroyed?
At first I loved how becoming a vampire had made Tara more intelligent and eloquent. But now she's back to the same old Tara.
