Summer Reading
The Last Run (a Queen and Country novel) by Greg Rucka
For Heaven's Eyes Only (Secret Histories) by Simon R. Green
The Janus Directive
and others whose names I don't have handy
I went to the bookstore today and got
Readme by Neal Stephenson
Under the Dome by Stephen King
David Brin has a (non Uplift) book coming out this summer. If it's in paperback I'll pick it up.
I still haven't read the Hunger Games and I've noticed everyone and their mom owns those books now. I'll borrow those books from someone this summer. Everyone and their mom also has the 50 Shades of Grey series, if I run out of things to read maybe I'll borrow those as well.
I finally managed to get all my books shelved. That means I can start at the beginning and read through 'em all (sorted by groupings of major universes and then by author's last name). Starting at my Dark Sun books and going from there.
I figure it'll only take me about a decade to read 'em all. >.<
I tend to read more magazines than books, but I did just finish "Impressions Of Africa" by Raymond Roussel (a new trans. from the French by Mark Polizzotti) from 1910. What a bizarre ride! The book (and author) influenced the Surrealists and a number of others in the 20th century. You kind some info on the Wikipedia page:

What?!
I was reading Jim Butcher's Summer Knight, but in light of recent events I'm switching to Ray Bradbury for the moment. Making my way through Golden Apples of the Sun right now, though I've an itching to go to the used bookstore and find a copy of Dandelion Wine.
William Shakespeare was the Bob Haney of his day!
