Ill/Rad v's Ill/Dark
Update......
Ok, as Ive said he is now 50 has T3 Alpha, Destiny, Lore and Interface, T2 Judgement and hybrid not unlocked yet. I have also completed the Ghost Widow arc and got Mu Mastery unlocked and respeced in.
A visit to Monster Island went well and the GM went down with ease.
Dropped Ghost Widow without issue.
Solo x8 is a darn sight easier
The debuffs from spectoral terror, dark powers and fluffy make being in melee a safe place to be and I find Im using flash much more. Also Howling twilight is another control power which ive got down to a 30 second recharge and can easily double stack tar patch. To add even more control Ive added in power sink for a nice sapping effect followed by ball of lightening and then my pet Mu.
All in Ill/Dark seems to be comparable on single target and loads more fun for soloing when taking on groups.
My Ill/Dark is only 33 (I dont level as fast as most folks), and this is the first 'troller that I have ever gone to x3 while solo before SOs. This toon can easily solo better than most of my level 50 toons could without an IO build. Me Likes
Can hardly wait until he has some solid IOs into his build.
BIOSPARK :: DARKTHORN :: SKYGUARD :: WILDMAGE
HEATSINK :: FASTHAND :: POWERCELL :: RUNESTAFF
On topic: I went ahead and created a baby Ill/Dark so I can play him a bit when I need a change of pace from dancing on the edge of the knife mowing down +8/+2 spawns with Umbracane in the mid-game (33).

It turns out that PA kept the GM pretty well taunted in my Tar Patch, nice and debuffed. I'm sure that any problem Tar Patch might cause with GM's/AV's running away would be similar for an Ill/Cold's Sleet, although the fact that Sleet causes damage to begin with(proc'd out or not) should cause creatures to flee Sleet more often I would think.
No doubt Ill/Colds are beasts that deserve mention alongside Ill/Rad and Ill/Dark, the main difference being that their -regen is single target, but they kind of make up for it with huge amounts of AoE -resist.
