Lantern Draft (game)

Taken the inspiration from here, let us make a draft for the Lantern Corps.

Rules:

  • Need 8 volunteers, first 8 people to show up are in.
  • Once all 8 people are in, I will randomly choose an order of people, each person will give one candidate for each color: Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Black, and White. Ideally with a wiki link and/or a justification.
  • If one person suggest a character for a ring, but someone else had already used that character, the person who was late must edit. If you think character X would be an awesome green lantern but someone already submitted him for the blue corps, you are out of luck.
  • No comic book characters from any company. TV, real life, movies, books, video games, etc, are fine.
  • Once every spot it filled it will be a good old elimination round. Voting will take place for 24 hours. The voting must be done assuming the voter is a power ring and had to pick one of those two.

This will be a massive 64 character draft. Still thinking how to sort this part out.

I'll update post as I polish the instructions.

I like drafts. This is interesting. I'm not a Green lantern fan as such, but this is essentially a virtue poster-child draft, which means it casts a wide net. Will get some interesting interpretations form our participants, no doubt.

Count me in.

I'll give it a shot.

I'm working long hours, though, so when it's my turn to pick it may be best to just jump on to the next person, and I'll post my choice when I can.

Also, just what makes a "good" Black/White lantern? Black seemed to be anyone that would mess with the living by returning, but I'm not sure on that. I have no idea what White used to pick people.

[Edit] Not sure if this will still happen or not, but my life has been getting "interesting". Might be for the best if I just pull my name out, just in case. Sorry.
