The worst I've ever done personally is buy an ATO with reward merits for the wrong AT...and tried to Enhancement Convert it to recover and got an even more worthless ATO from it. So I ended up getting something like 10 mil from 500 merit rewards. Never again will I complain about getting Trap of the Hunter for the recipe roll.

The thing is, I have never paid 50k for something that was normally selling for under 1k, UNLESS... I happened to have a 5-digit number in the window from a previous purchase.
It is, quite literally, not cost-effective for me to click in that little window and hit backspace.
