Base Salvage Collector In Need!

I knew someone a few years ago who was big into collecting all the old base salvage. Pretty sure she ended up with a complete collection (with multiples of most of the items). As a bluesider she even had some redside items back before side switching was possible via some bugs that allowed a few of those items to appear on the blueside!
Unfortunately she's basically retired from the game now. She pops on every few months or so to say hi to everyone. If I remember I'll ask next time to see if she wouldn't mind letting me get her collection. No guarantees of course because for all I know she might not want to give it up.

I have some i could help you with. I just found after talking to another collector 10 or 11 coral shards on old toons over 1100 days old.

i think one or two of those that your looking for were never actually put in the game ever.
Checked all my vill alts (these seem redisde salvage?) and only "rare" I found was a Spielman's Signet (?) which went for 30 million on market. I'll check with a friend, he has a lot of legacy alts.

I've got about 60 alts in total that I haven't touched from 2300 days - 1000 days.
If you could tell me exactly which ones I should check (did it exist 2300 days ago?) or which level it started (Will toons below 10 have any?), then I will gladly check.

PvP Redux is discontinued, for obvious reasons. Thanks to everyone who helped and joined.
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Misc_Salvage is a list of non obtainable salvage. So no amount of effort will get it.
As of Issue 13, crafted base items require Invention Salvage to create, rather than components made from base salvage. Base salvage no longer drops, but can be converted into invention salvage via brain storms.
Issue 13 was released to the Live Servers on December 2, 2008.
so characters most likely old "main" toons, Old farmers for influ or infamy cause there was nothing to farm for other than the badges. And old PL toons.
Issue 6, titled Along Came a Spider, was a major revision to City of Heroes released on Thursday, October 27, 2005
Characters in Supergroup mode can now gain Prestige and Salvage. These will be useful to players who own both City of Heroes and City of Villains in base building
So anytime after Oct 27, 2005 up till Dec 2, 2008 is 1133 days they were active.
oct 27 2005- till now is 2396 days total.
when they were taken out of the game was. 1264 days ago. so a toon must be at least 1264 days old to even have the ability to have any base salvage at all.
i think most of my toons have already cleaned up their base salvage, i might have 1-2 toons with a piece or 2 left though

brainstorms were the problem for most of us. You could at the start convert base salvage to brainstorms and earn credit for the "creation" badges some of which were insanely hard to get.
Most badgers that had a lot of time on a toon hence the most brainstorms to get and use to get badges. As i seem to remember most badgers had their own bases in many cases and used their salvage to get the 5000 creations badge. That was a bug that was fixed pretty quick but the dmg was done hundreds of thousands of base salvage were burned immediatly.

Hi guys, thanks for taking a look around for me - I'm unsure of what level toons could/can have these, but if you wanna be safe, take a look on them lowbies. I'm upping my offer to 150mil-500mil each.

Edited to add: And the Coral Shard has a sales history in the last few months, so it's definitely in-game as well. Why rely on the wiki when you can open the market interface and see that these things exist?

I can confirm that all these items exist in game. I have more than one of all of them but until I have 20 of each I'm not selling any of them. There may not in fact be 20 of many of these items on active accounts so my quest is probably in vain.

I have almost a full set of salvage of every kind except many on that list. Not all. But many many are not in the game. And the ones in the top section some have not been seen in a very long time.
