What are you pairing with the upcoming power sets?

Rerolling my Storm/Energy Defender as the Storm/Water Defender he was always meant to be.

Rerolling my Spines/Regen Stalker as Spines/Bio for the more plant-themed look I was going for originally (I don't know what the set will look like, but it just sounds like it will fit better).

Not sure what I'll be using Nature Affinity with, but it will most likely be a Defender of some kind.

As others said, I might try out:

Plant Control/Nature Affinity Controller
Beast Mastery/Nature Mastermind
Spines/Bio Armor Stalker

I do wish, however they would consider adding Water Manipulation as a Blaster Secondary and Proliferating Spines to Brutes.

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

Bio Armor - either Claws or Spines, not sure yet. Possibly Katana.
Nature Affinity - definitely Beast Mastery.
Water Blast - probably Dark Miasma.

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

But, as I understand it... the Devs pretty much have I24 and I25 planned out. And since, (again, to my understanding,) I24 will include a new (final?) Preatorian zone, and I25 will introduce the Batalion, I doubt they will have the resources to devote to proliferation until after these issues have been released.
Source? I have heard that they will have Battalion in I25, but I have not heard anything about a new zone in I24.

Again, may just be me reading between lines that do not exist, but Positron put in his anniversary address:

Then, of course, will come Issue 24 and the new content it will bring (some of which deals with the fallout of a post-Tyrant Praetoria, for those that are curious where we are taking that story arc).
Couple that with rumors of dealing with more Preatorian Hamidon and Praetorian Devouring Earth (No, I don't know where those rumors began, myself) and I have to suspect that I24 will introduce one final Praetorian zone, with higher-level content.

Praetorian Hamidon was outright SAID to be on the agenda by Prometheus after your character completes the UnderGround Trial. PraeHami is next.

Deamus the Fallen - 50 DM/EA Brute - Lib
Dragos Bahtiam - 50 Fire/Ice Blaster - Lib

Yup. Issue 24 is going to be all about Praetorian Hami. Which makes it an ideal time to port Spines and add Bio Armor and Nature Affinity.

It may not mean a full scale new zone though. It might just have a mini-zone like the Hive or the Abyss, or just be an I-Trial.

I really should do something about this signature.

A few thoughts on Bio Armor from a min/max POV (which is not to say I think it's more important than concept - it isn't).

It's advertised as a resistance/regen/absorb set. Two of these scale with max hp, and the other benefits from a higher resistance cap. Therefore tankers and brutes might be able to squeeze a little more benefit out of Bio Armour.

It is thought to have some damage debuff. This stacks well with melee sets that have -dmg or -recharge. Which would be the obvious Spines, Kinetic Melee, Ice (although that has it's own issues, and the rumoured Psi Melee.

Can anyone tell me how does the concept of Psy Melee work? Using the mind to land physical hits?

Or do SSA 1.6 redside - Penelope Yin uses Psi Melee attacks.

Ahh, got it. Thanks for clearing that up.
