Suggestions for Super Pack 2 items?

Super Packs were probably the devs' most recent definitive success. The Plummit survey asked players for their most wanted items for the next round of packs so I thought I'd start a new thread to generate ideas. What are MY most wanted items?

-A rare contact drop that gives access to a hidden story arc, as well as a badge for that arc's completion. I think players would salivate over this - more so than the black wolf pet - especially badge hunters. It's also gray enough to circumvent complaints of "paying for badges." Perhaps only the team leader would be eligible for the badge to prevent people from simply teaming with recipients in order to receive it.

-Rare drops for new capes and auras. I personally know a lot of players, myself included, who would drop a lot of change for a chance at a "draped cape" option - ie: High Collar without the collar.

-New costume set (Golden Age/Pulp gets my vote)

-New emotes/costume changes

-New vehicle options for the recently released Team Transport power (I want a Batmobile dammit!!)

We know of course that new ATEs will be included, but there's a LOT of room for exciting new items. What do YOU want to see included?

/Unsigned as it directly is selling badges. No matter how much you think you are avoiding it, it is selling a badge.

I think this might be a given, but I would still like the option to buy them separately from the packs after they are live for 6-9 months.

No, no, no, No, NO, NO

The inclusion of costume stuff in the freaking gamble packs was bad enough. Including more sets, sets that have asked for for a LONG time, mark you, AND contacts AND emotes AND capes auras?

There would be blood. There is no two ways about it. Locking costumes into luck of the draw with our ******* RNG is bad enough when it's a one off thing that no one reall expected.

No. /Unsigned. End of.

Looking at the last packs, im guessing the following:

Reward Merits
Xp / inf / prestige Boosters
Restore / rez charges
Group / Mixed or super insperations
New ATO's
Enhancement unslotters / boosters
Catalysts / converters
Costume set peices to form one whole set
1 Super rare drop similar to the doggie

Rockshock (Druid Tanker), Medicat (Combat Medic), Dwarf From the North (Ice Mage), Rocket Gal (Energy Blaster), Graveborn (Undead Mastermind), Streeker (Punching Speedster), Op. Sidewinder (Recluse's pet Spider)

I can't help thinking that if they're too similar, there'll be no reason to buy the second pack.

My guess is they'll keep the reward merits because getting them in bulk makes a great core to package the rest of the items around. There'll also be another small "gotta get em all" bundle like a costume set, and an exclusive vanity item like a pet. Stuff like that appeals to quite a number of people, so it makes sense to throw in a few. But if they want the second pack to reach the volume of sales that the first pack has shown, then they really want to offer a significant difference in the remainder of the items.

For example, instead of offering inf and xp boosters again, they could go with charges of temp powers. Things like hand grenades and warwolf summons. A neat little bag of tricks that you don't have to craft first or run stale missions to get.

Charges of the five-minute version of mission teleporter that you get from the rewards program would be handy. Sometimes you're finished before the two-hour or thirty-minute cooldown comes back around.

Or charges of a power that lets you summon any gladiator that the character has unlocked, as a pet. Say for an hour of in-game time as a vanity pet, or x minutes (based on its rank) as a combat pet.

And rather than dual or team insps, they might go with Focused Inspirations. Each one would provide a boost to damage of one type as well as a defense or resistance boost against damage of the same type. Such as Frigid Focus: +33% cold damage, and +24% defense versus cold damage, for five minutes. The rates would be on par with the dual insps currently available, but more tailored to specific situations or characters.

Converters would be a great replacement for boosters or unslotters.

The ATOs will be a different set than the first one had, so that's fine.

In place of Catalysts, they could go with Enhancement Tuners. Each Tuner would turn one ingame set IO into an attuned version. Trading causes it to lose its attuned status and revert to a regular ingame set IO. (You could mention non-VIPs at this point, but non-VIPs can't use reward merits either, and the first super pack was chock full of those.)

That's what they'd have if I was choosing it.

Definitely think this will be in the new boosters. Really nice for characters that you don't play often or solo so they can either pick up rare recipes, convert them into alignment merits or get some enhancement converters to make some coin that way.

Xp / inf / prestige Boosters
And Windfalls...but I think the devs are looking into things that may replace these in this pack. Trying to think what they might offer but am drawing a blank. Besides the Performance Amplifiers, it might be possible those will be something put in there instead: Defense Amplifier, Offense Amplifier and Survival Amplifier.

Restore / rez charges
I'm actually hoping they nix this one. Not that I don't like getting these, but I felt I was getting more of these than the inspirations...which I'd have preferred.

Group / Mixed or super insperations
If they put the Super Inspirations in there, they'd probably be rarer since they're sellable. I wouldn't mind the devs creating Auxiliary Inspirations:

-Tenacity = 200%/350%/500% regen boost + res to -regen for 30/45/60 seconds
-Zealous = 150%/200%/300% recovery boost + res to endurance drain/-recovery for 45/60/75 seconds.
-Imperishable = 1/2/3 levels of absorb for up to 15/25/35 seconds (or until you absorb the alloted amount of damage) + 1/2/3 points of protection vs hold, sleep, stun, knockback, confuse, immobilize for 30/40/60 seconds.

Keep the group inspirations, just replace the mixed with something like those.

Yup, can't have enough of those.

Costume set peices to form one whole set
I wouldn't be opposed to removing this from future packs and replacing it with 'costume purchase tokens' redeemable in the costume creator. Basically, what they do is allow you to buy any 1 costume piece available for purchase, maybe with a maximum of 20 or something on an account at one time (so you have to spend them before you can get more...no hoarding a load of them for future stuff).

But what? Lol would be terrible if they made it a white tiger...then I'd have to spend hundreds of dollars in an attempt to get it T_T

Yes I suppose you're right. Nix the badge then. I still like the idea of a hidden/unlockable arc, though. It would give a unique incentive. As much as I liked the Super Packs if round two offers more of the same I probably won't be dipping into my wallet for them. I have enough restores/team inspirations/dual inspirations/catalysts/merits from the first round to see me to the grave.

They ought to make the rewards different enough to make buying BOTH versions appealing. If they make them a recolored clone I'll just get enough to unlock the costumes I want and buy the ATEs at WW.

My reply to the survey suggested that they remove Super Packs from the game entirely and possibly utilize Ouroboros to prevent them from ever existing.

YMMV.
