Paragon Studio have always created new Power set because they know the more option we have the more fun (Happy customer! ). They want to entertain us with a quality of products, to prove they are the best in the industry. We want to Beast mastery and we go it!!! But like always it’s hard to please everyone!

Everyone have his personal favorite animal that they want to add to BM. Tiger, Lion,(BIg cats),Spiders and More wolf.
The problem is that in this game Customize is not possible without extra coding (Money).
Once they create a certain Henchmen power, it stays like that and can't be personalize.

Devs:"We can't give you Customize pets, Leave us alone already!!"

So while I was playing with my Crab spider, making him a Arachnobots Mastermind
by choosing all the pets spider I can(Many Options!!), I say:

” Why not, they just give us another power to choose a Tier2 Lieut Pets like Wolf to have a whole Pack”

THEY CAN ACTUALLY DO THAT!!!!!!!!!

E.I.Crab spider has two toxic Grenades! If you choose Crab or Soldier version it disables the other,
giving you the Option to choose between the Rifle or crab pack to fire it.

They can Add another power as atier3 pet to choose a Lion, Wolf, Tiger, Heck even a Sabertooth!!!!

It can Be done! The mechanics already exist in Veat! No need to do extra coding
There is no need to make a power set restricted to only have 9 power,
You can add power that are exclusive to each other, that summon different type of pet.

If you want to have a Pack of Wolf, a Pride of Lion, a Nest of Spider, a Tiger Den, Sabertooth, feralwolf, Ect,
Lets ask a Red name opinion about this topic!
If they considered this, it will give us what we have always wanted,
“customize” pets!!!

I want /Fire stalker. Because nothing says stealth like dumping a can of gasoline on yourself and lighting a match. -Morac

We do know that they can do this, and I think it's been suggested before. The only real problem is that, while it does allow for some extremely limited customization, I don't know if the devs would be willing to go to that much extra work for a single powerset, given that each alternate power would be just as much work as the original one. Making a new pet powerset that has 3 choices for each pet would, as far as I understand it, be just as much work as making 3 *different* new pet powersets in terms of animating/art time/power balancing/etc.

In other words, while this option isn't unfeasible on technical grounds, it might wind up being unfeasible on *practical* grounds.

I understand your point, They would need to work on some technical aspect like powers and balancing, maybe adding a new power or two in each pet. But IMO the benefit outweitgh the disvantage.

They have already create a LION and lioness animation already done. With some adjustment they can have a Lion Boss. Also they have the dark wolf power, They could create a power that summon 2 dark wolf and give then beta wolf attack and lioness buff, with almost not effort you get a new power. And I'm sure they have a tiger Pet skin already made! It's possible and Pratical.

If they can create a power to summon a useless lion/liger, They can take that power, give it some attacks and place it as a second tier 9 pets over the feral wolf. It would be a way to customize your team of hechmen.

Make it perform better mechanically, before shoveling out cosmetic changes. Just my opinion.

As for how 'easy' it will be? Shrug.

Beast Mastery, not Wolf Mastery.

Power branching is built into the SoA archetype, it may very well be impossible to implement it for a single powerset in another archetype.

My Beast/Sonic performs pretty well. I've read your rants about the set, but it really seems to be functioning at a higher level than you seem to expect.

and it may be possible. As it's there isn't a way to let player have diversiti on the animal they want to summon. The only thing we can do is roll over and pick what we are given but it don't have to be that way.

My Branch idea have the same logic as SoA. Think about, If you want to create a AT so player can be Arachnos you would end up with only a Arachnos Soldier or Widow. But Devs know that Arachnos have different sub group Like:
Bane,
Crabspider,
HUntsman,
Fortunata,
Night Widow

They knew we would want to plays all of those and more but they couldn't create 6 Powerset for all. They got smart, they decide to build a brach power selection so everyone could become any of those class with 2 AT. 6 "AT" for the price of two.

They could make the same with Beast mastery. Giving others power to summon differents animals.

The way these Paragon money grubbers are headed, I wouldn't be surprised to find Issue 26+ brings us "Improved BM" to the Paragon Market. They won't fix what we have...they will charge us 1400 points to BUY the improved, fixed version instead.

I just wish that for each pet, you could pick either the wolf model, the lion model, or the dire wolf model. Size based on tier. It would be kinda like how fire melee can pick between fire scimitars or the massive greater fire blade for each fire sword power.

That way, we would still be using their rig, but we could go with all lions, or all wolves, or whatever.
