will the new dimensional portal allow travel to the Praetoria starting zone?

I would love to do more in Praetoria 1-20 if I weren't trapped there

We don't know.

The portal giving access to Praetoria wouldn't necessarily mean that it would allow low level Praetorians to leave - after all, there's already at least two ways for Primals to enter Praetoria, but Praetorians can't leave. I imagine this is a design choice, as someone with a Praetorian alignment would likely interact oddly with Primal contacts.

I could be wrong. But until the Beta server opens up, the only people who could tell you, aren't allowed to.

I hope not. You made your choice, now live with it! (At least until level 20.)

I interpret your question differently, since you ask if people will be able to travel to Praetoria, not from it. You can do that now, but you can't get all of the missions, and I don't see why that would change with the dimensional tunnels.

'I don't like the look of it at all,' said the King: 'however, it may kiss my hand if it likes.'
'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.
'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.

Fixed that for you.

And yah. Praetorian characters would still be stuck to praetorian only zones + Pocket D, regardless of whether or not the new portals let us jump between there and primal.

I think they're just hoping to make some of the more 'out there' zones more accessible instead of the single entry way so many have.

I put it that way because I wasn't sure about the newer repeatable contact. Now I see that Paragonwiki says it's introduced.

Yeah, the only Praetorian missions at all that Primals can access are those in First Ward. 1-20 in standard praetoria is restricted to Praetorians only. The only content you can do as a primal running around praetoria are getting badges and the 3 live events in each zone (protest, syndicate smash, and great escape)

The only content you can do yourself; you can join Praetorians doing their missions, the same way that Rogues can join Hero teams and Vigilantes can join Villain teams.

Yeah but that requires Praetorians to be playing in the first place. greyside is more of a ghost town than Redside any day

That's actually really sad. I make new Praetorian lowbies because the zones are so beautiful and the content is more challenging and interesting than red side, let alone blue, but it's extremely rare for me to see more than one or two people in the various Praetorian city zones other than the First Ward.

On the other hand, Praetoria feels unfinished to me for missing higher level content. PI and Grandville weren't available at launch either, and I've kind of hoped that we'd eventually see more of Praetoria as well but it appears to me that we have as much as we're going to get.

The free account players are really missing some of the coolest player areas in the game. I would think that the devs would be more interested in showcasing their work than they appear to be.

Things I hate: Anime. PvP. Lying MMO Developers. Outleveling content. Manga. ED. Comic Store Employees. Anime.

First Ward wasn't that long ago, and it looks like we'll be getting another installment soon enough.
