"they just gave you a new power-set and the ability to make the Elmers Glue Man"

Great... now I have an idea stuck in my head for a new character and I'm at work

Dragon-King First level 50 -- Fire/Nrg Blaster
(and to many alts to mention)
Protector

Fair enough on the insultation, and for that I do apologize. However one must keep things relative to have any basis for judgement. Fact is since they took over the current Devs have been delivering what we have been asking for since...well...beta. As quick as they can and in deference with the community.

Street Justice, Stalker changes, gravity changes, intangibility changes, buff changes, mastermind fixes, a new mastermind set, Shield Defense, Beam Rifles, Darkness Control, Powerset Proliferation, end game content, new zones, good stories, stories in the same zones, additional travel power pool options, teaming improvements, etc. I mean these guys have really been kicking butt and putting rubber on pavement. I'm sure there is several important ones I've missed.

Yet still people are only concerned about X or Y shiny that THEY WANT RIGHT NOW. The good is quickly forgotten. Really people are not being properly appreciative. Ya know what would happen if they dumped EVERYTHING they had right now in our lap at once. In 2 months people would gripe they have done nothing new.

They are balancing many things and trying to keep a steady release of content.

The real point is that the only reason people think they have to gripe is they lack perspective and objectivity. Everyone matters, not just each individual person and they have been doing a dang fine job of trying to release what people want and spreading the love around. Melee has gotten plenty of love lately, they did some other stuff instead of catering ONLY to melee.

Sure, that's a ridiculous extreme, but the logic here is the same.
You just compared deadly diseases to not getting a powerset a couple months faster. I don't even know how that is supposed to be a credit to your argument. It is not a valid comparison, nor is the same concept.

You wanna know why and cannot figure it out yourself? Go ask a person with cancer or another deadly disease. I'm sure they could give you a laundry list. I'm sure they'd start at the temporary and trivial inconvenience vs permanent death and go from there.

I can laugh at cancer jokes because they at least derive some humor from an otherwise horrible situation. But wrongly and poorly using it for your own trivial purposes is beyond wrong and insulting. It demonstrates exactly how much perspective you lack on that.

I can understand the point your TRYING to make, though I disagree with it. But this is the wrong way to get there (in fact it's horribly flawed logic that DOESN'T get there) and does much to damage your credibility and little to gain it. Please do not make a comparison of this type again. Shock value =/= more validity.

Yeah, that's going to induce a lot of rage.

I admit, I raged quite a bit at it. At the end of the day, there's nothing else I (or anyone else) can do but wait. Point is, I wouldn't blame the people raging over not getting Staff Fighting. At least, not too much...
I'm not surprised. Beast Mastery is a much more complicated set and the amount of time and work that has gone into it likely far eclipses that of staff fighting as well as tests the waters of the new rig and opens the door for A LOT that people have been asking for.

It's got bugs, but it's fun to play IMO. It's a new MM set and MM's have sat by and watched as everyone else got set after set after set. The bugs will be ironed out, just like other bugs in the game are eventually ironed out even though some take longer than others. Even though some were released live.

My first 50 was a TA/A Defender shortly after release despite having played as long as I have. I played MM's at release and was part of the very first villain taking of Pinnacle Siren's Call along with Flaming Roar and Jin-Roh (something close to that). I was on a Robots/Traps MM named Cygon. I have a fair idea of what it's like to have your set or other things released with need for tweaking.

People prioritize the wrong things, lose perspective, lose objectivity, and don't keep their judgements relevant with the games around them. We have it pretty good here and this game has out survived and out thrived some very tough competition for good reasons.

Bugs happen. But a lot of bugs wouldn't even bother people if they didn't specifically know about it. Perspective and mentality means more to enjoyment and happiness than all the perfect numbers and glitch-less game-play in the world ever will.

There is a reason while I'm still happily playing and your aggravated at minor stuff .
