Buy a $15 bundle followed immediately by two $5 bundles. Problem solved.

The quantities are not arbitrary. They are chosen to make you end up with extra change and encourage you to hit certain thresholds of spending.
They could cut up the denominations right down to a formula that would let you buy any quantity you want with the proper discount and just type in how many you want if it was that simple.
Don't get me wrong, feedback is meaningful. If they get the impression they could make more money by tweaking the denominations then they would, but that would be why, not because you want flexibility, and flexibility must not equal more money for them or this would not be the standard operating procedure for a cash shop to begin with.

Actually the OP has a good idea and there is no reason why it could not be done aside from unwillingness.
Just add an option to buy XXX (Fill in the blank) points and let the store calculate the cost just like it does for multiples of anything. Players on tighter budgets could then get what they can afford.
Seems simple and reasonable to me!

I gotta say I don't really like Cryptics focus on selling points. They focus on selling round numbers of points and as a result have goofy dollar amounts like

$18.75
I'd much prefer
$5
$10
$15
$20
$25
$50
$100
I think it wouldn't be a problem except that you have to add $15 worth to your cart and buy that, then add $5 to cart and buy that, then repeat step 2.
if you could just say "charge me for a 15 and 2 5's" it would be more convenient, and I won't argue against that.

Can we get more denominations (if that would be the correct term) of Paragon Points to buy in the store? Right now, we have:
400 - $5
1,200 (plus bonus, making it 1,320 total) - $15
4,000 (4,600) - $50
8,000 (9,600) - $100
To make it easier for "impulse buyers" (like me) who are also on a budget (like me) to spend money (while not spending more money than we have), I would like to suggest adding another option between 400/1,200 and 1,200/4,000 with the proper pricing options.
For example, right now, I would like to buy 5 character slots. 5 slots is 1,600 points. I have no desire to drop $50 (and I shouldn't be spending $50 on this right now, either) for 4,000 points right now. Which means I will have to buy 1,200, followed by buying another 400 to give me enough points. A nice alternative would be say, 2,600 points for something like $25 (whatever the appropriate price point would be). This would give me enough to buy my slots, and have a handful of points leftover to use on either the upcoming powersets, or more Super Packs.
What say you, devs?
