Apparently. Which, just to be clear... is ludicrous.

I think it was more the point that this change really serves no purpose. for instance, if you're car is broken and has a multitude of problems it really does no good to just change the spark plugs.

and in this specific case, were they literally never touch pvp bugs (see my first statement about it being more surprising that they actually changed something than the subject of the change) and when they were told about the bug multiple times, in cb and after with no response, you grow to accept it.

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

Except for the part where they occasionally DO fix pvp bugs or other bugs YEARS after the fact, even after they've been told about it repeatedly AND don't comment on it. This is NOT new.

Anyone who thinks a bug (whether favorable to the players or not) is never going to get fix and "grows to accept it" is foolishly deluding themselves and ignoring the history of this game.

Just saying.

For anyone who grew to accept it's bugged behavior I say "sucks to be you" and "gg, do better next time."

:-)

fixing pvp bugs is pretty new. i can't remember the last time one was fixed. and it's especially new in that they've never done a fix that has completely nutter'd a set. i suppose it's just arbitrary to do a change like this, when they could have picked a bug that would have HELPED a set instead of hurting one. like say, idk, fixing indom will.

like the guy said, fixing bugs is great. but when it's not done on a regular basis and its done in a very arbitrary fasion, it probably wouldn't be that big of a deal

You need to know the code you are working on to do arbitrary fashioned regular basis bug fixes. Unfourtunatly this game changed hands and got a new development team who has barely any idea on what they were working on. I think we may see more regular and arbitrary fasihoned bug fix and updates in the near future since they finally got the finance and understanding of code to do so. On that matter we should actually congragulate dev team to be able to either change code to their working ground or analysed it enough to solve problems in a mere 5 year or so.

Last time I went into a pvp zone I was on my Stalker and get attacked by a trick arrow controller with a low damage primary. Maybe Ice Control. Either way, I got locked into a situation where I was perma-held but the guy was taking forever to kill me so I just logged out.

When I came back, I was still alive in the same spot and the guy was gone.

Guys, I just got back from playing BF3. The PVP in that is pretty good.
