Righteous anger rarely works well in any exchange with customer service, but at least customer service is paid to be civil while you yell at them. Other players/customers can say what they really think.

But I do hope you get the problem resolved.

That's not entirely true. Every CS job I ever had allowed the CS reps to tell abusive people that if they didn't modify their behavior while speaking to the rep, the rep would end the call. (and since all calls are recorded these days for Quality Assurance, it's easy to confirm if the caller is lying when they call back with a different story about why the CS hung up on them.) Same thing applies for emails. Emails are a record of exactly what you say to CS.

To be fair, you are still expected to be civil (in most places) as you hang up on them.

I do admit, however, I'm not sure if I could resist the urge to simply say "Well, goodbye and have a good day" and hangup next time I get a customer who says "no" when I ask "Can you please hold a moment?"

Three days and not a single video, or screenshot. Not even a link that we could click on that easily confirms his claims.

If I was cynical I'd say his silence speaks volumes.

Or since he's the one that brought up the topic of faking things, he's learned it's harder to fake videos than he thought.
