Currently Recruiting: Since we're a fairly new SG, we're always looking for some good, virtuous heroes to join our ranks. We're really trying to focus on bringing in the classic hero. (Tights/Capes/etc. A good, iconic look really.)

Theme/Concept: "Based on the orbiting space station known as 'The Lambent Dawn', the Global Defense Force is here to protect the world from any beings that seek to do it harm. The Global Defense Force was founded by some of the premier heroes from Paragon City and elsewhere on Earth with the purpose of creating a strong coalition of heroes that would be able to deploy at a moment's notice to any area on the planet that requires their assistance."
Think the Justice League or Avengers: a group of heroes dedicated to protecting the entire planet. One goal is that when we have enough members, we'd like to form separate teams withing the SG. Each team will be tasked with protecting and monitoring specific regions of the planet. For example, one group would be tasked with deploying to urban environments if a situation called for their assistance. Current groups planned at the moment are: Urban/Industrial, Desert, Forest, Jungle, Tundra, Underground, and Oceanic. Each team would have its own inclusive plots and enemies. For interdimensional threats or those from outside Earth, the entire GDF would be brought together.
Activity: We have a pretty good core group of players at the moment but are always looking to expand that. For the most part, people are on everyday; most during the evenings.
Requirements for Membership: Have a character that fits the above and fill out an application on our forums. It helps if you are a good RPer and are an active and committed member of the group. It would also be nice if we could get a couple characters from the regions or characters that have extensive knowledge of the above regions.

Theme/Concept: "Children of Asterion is group created for all Minotaurish heroes roaming in Paragon. Founded by few minotaurs which adapted in Paragon City its main purpose is to help such unhumanly heroes find their place in this world, and coordinate their actions in order to make them accepted as normal part of heroic scene"
Many toons themed as bovine, or minotaurish were basically lost in the new environment, or cases similar to Ben Grimm. Group provides circle of similar faces, shelter and training, which basically is far more effective than wondering around Paragon and learning the hard way. The most similar idea would be Academy fo Gifted Youth run by Proffesor Xavier. But here we deal with minotaurs.
Currently Recruiting: We are fresh SG, and just finished making our base functional and ready. So we are really looking for more recruits.
RP Level: Light RP (We are mostly RPing and encouraging it)
PvP Level: We are PvE group, so no PvP events are planned
Activity: Currently we have over 20 members, and good core for simple TFs. Most of the group regurarly log in and participate in events, but, there is always room to improve. At the moment only regular event is weekly SG TF.
Requirements for Membership: We are looking for bovine/minotaurish toons. Origin isn't the most important aspect, but we are pretty loyal to the theme

If I had one item of suggestion, it would be to have RPSGs and regular SGs on two opposite sides of wherever we are meeting for players to know where to look. That aside, it was a well done event!
