Let me just say a HUGE thank you to everyone who showed up tonight, All the SG's, and the people looking for sg's, this was an awesome event. We packed 3 King's Row's! And especially thank you to Zwillinger for showing up and supporting the event tonight. You are now my favorite Dev!
Also, congrats to all our contests winners tonight, I will be posting the winners, along with a bunch of screen shots we took tonight, later.

The Dawn Patrol is hosting a Supergroup recruitment faire and we would like to extend an invititation to any interested supergroups to attend. We ask that every attending supergroup post in this thread a brief history and description of what they're looking for in regards to new members. We also request that any supergroups attending please have at least three of their members present to represent them at the faire. DJ Wyld of www.radioparagon.com will be providing live coverage of the faire.

We had a fantastic time at our show! The turnout was awesome, and we made some great new friends! Stayed on the air from 10 pm EST until around 2:20 EST or so. Here are some personal screenshots from the show.
We had a really hard time choosing winners on all of our Costume & Biography contests, there were some great ones to choose from! I only have a screenshot of one of the winners, i'm still waiting to get the ones taken by someone else emailed to me, & will put them up as soon as I get them. The winners of our contests were.

Yes people still use Pinnacle, if you'd like to talk or team contact any of the GGG members. GGG recently took over the number 1 spot for SG/VGs as well as being the first 4v4 team on pinnacle to defeat every undefeated team on the server.
GGG only allows the best to join, but perhaps maybe if we become solid friends one day you could make an alt and join us. We are fairly simple, quiet, keep to ourselves kind of SG/VG but we do sometimes join up with Nites to run TFs and what not.
If you're interested in joining us or TF/SF/Raiding with us, contact any of our leaders, you can find their globals in the SG/VG of pinn thread.

Anyway, this thread is for us to announce when our contests will be, and who the winners are after the contests are completed. It is not a thread for you and your buddies to spam in, so I would sincerely appreciate it if you would refrain from doing so in the future. If you don't have anything other than "Give more loot" or anything along that lines, then please keep it to yourselves.
And just to cover our bases, before you or anyone else from your group can challenge us like in other threads you have gone in an jacked, NO, we will not PvP against you. We don't PvP. Not before, not now, not ever, so don't bother. We won't accept. Ya feel me? -

As the dude in the back in the Purple Tights, who just happened to swing by the tailors when this lil event was going on, (my toons name is Purple People-Beater) How could I resist getting in on this after seeing in broadcast "OMG it's Purple People-Beater, get in the shot with us!" Very funny.

Seems like there's a lot of complaining over this dbl xp weekend. Wait, isn't there always? You can't keep everyone happy. My views on what i've seen posted here.
1. MA isn't giving dbl xp. For all you crying that this was done deliberate, why don't you stop and think for a minute. MA has gone through A LOT of updating recently. Maybe, just maybe, because of those updates, it changed something in there that made it hard to have the dbl xp going in it. The devs say it's a bug, I believe them. Why do I believe them, you ask? Because, they have CHANGED a lot of the issues that were taken advantage of during the last dbl xp weekend, so it's not like you were going to be able to take advantage of it this time anyway. So stop crying.
2. Servers: For those crying about the servers not going above green. Like some others have already said, the servers have been upgraded, so you won't see servers in the red anymore. Now I played quite a bit over this weekend, during all different hours of the day, and noticed on several occasions that both Freedom and Virtue were in the yellow. So don't know how you can say that none of the servers were ever in the yellow or hardly in the yellow.
3. This kind of goes along with the servers. Finding people to play with. The only time I had a real problem getting a team was Sunday morning. You know, when a lot of people go to church, etc. etc. I had no problems whatsoever getting teams at any other time during the weekend.
4. Problems with the game, ie: rubberbanding, lag, etc: Honestly, I didn't see any of these issues. My game ran perfectly the entire weekend, and none of my friends, or anyone else I teamed with complained of any problems. For those that did have problems, I might suggest you look to your own computer first as a possible solution, graphics cards up to date, etc. etc.
All in all, it was a completely enjoyable weekend for me. I teamed up with a lot of people,ran all kinds of different missions and tf's, leveled up a lot of my toons, and had a lot of fun. Thanks to the Devs for giving us the weekend, and especially extending it to monday.

I haven't had any problems all weekend. I'm actually surprised at how lag-free it's been. I haven't even seen Freedom or Virtue get above yellow, much less grayed out like previous dbl xp weekends. Doesn't seem like a good sign.

I was wondering about this myself. I just saw the patch notes this morning & tried to view the new stuff but couldn't. So they only allowed the new stuff to be viewed for a day? That's not very long to see if something works right or not. -
