Bugs with new gender/height tailor

Some things I've noticed.

1) NONE of your character settings are preserved between genders. I can imagine you don't want some male parts going to females or vice-versa, however, having to -completely- retool the character from scratch? Would it be too much effort to try to carry over any "legal" costume pieces?

2) When changing heights, the tailor kept giving me a pair of sunglasses that i didn't want (unless i already had a head piece). Okay, so it's two clicks of a button to get rid of, but it would seem that a costume piece identifier got mixed up with "none". This may be a symptom of a larger issue, so perhaps it's worth looking into.

3) we can now use the costume change emotes when flying...! BUT, your legs just dangle like you're on a hook while doing so with the DRINK SERUM and SALUTE emotes (that, and the potion crashes well before it hits the ground). The pose you're in afterwards (standing but with feet pointing down) is COOL, don't change it, but see if you can do something during the animations so the legs don't look funny.
-3b) the sound effect for the SPIN costume change emote is missing.

1) I was unable to use tailor tokens to pay for free tailor session. The option was not there.

2) My capes are not re-sizing.
I took a short alt of mine... and made a maximum height duplicate of her in slot 3.
But costume was an exact duplicate.
When I switched between the 2 slots, . . . The costume kept the previous size.
Short me had a cape that was too long.
Changing from Short Me (cape proper length) to Tall Me gave me a really mini-cape

Off to find the official Bug thread . . .

I have older toons on test that havent been able to access any features of the Science Booster pack. I can't access the height/gender change nor the other features, eventhough it was said that any toon on test before yesterdays patch should have access to these things.

i was able to pay for my gender/height changes with tailor tokens without a problem.

i STRONGLY recommend at least saving skin color over from the original to the change. You can always adjust it later if you need to, but it's a pain to have to change back to some other costume, check your colors, then head back to the surgeon and duplicate it, when it could be done server side.

I was wondering about this myself. I just saw the patch notes this morning & tried to view the new stuff but couldn't. So they only allowed the new stuff to be viewed for a day? That's not very long to see if something works right or not.

Actually, quite a few bugs were caught and reported last night. Both Castle and Ghost Falcon were there, and with a player's help, Castle was even able to track down a geometry corruption bug which screwed up a character's body if they switched genders while in SG mode. Believe me, those of us who test stuff work rather quickly.

They did for the Wedding Booster. That caught several bugs before going Live, but still had to correct some after it went Live.
