PYF GIF [Warning: Many Images; Rules To Read]

Allo, and welcome to PYF GIF!

In this thread, you Post Your Favorite GIF, for others to enjoy!

* Know Thy Limits: I'm placing a limit of 5 GIFs per post. With the default of 40 Posts Per Page, that's 200 GIFs per page. Most modern computers should be able to handle that fine.

* Size Matters: Some images are really large. Most of them aren't GIFs, but sometimes they are. If a GIF you want to post is rather large, and stretches the tables, you should link to it instead: Large & Funny GIF of a kitteh! (That's not a real link...)

* Keep It Clean: There are rules in place for making posts on the forums, and they apply here, as well: No nudity, no swearing, no death, no extreme violence, no gross-outs. If you're not sure, just don't post it.

* Tag It!: If you do post a link to an image with nudity, make sure you tag it as not safe for work: NSFW http://example.com/link/ NSFW.

* Be A Good Guest: A lot of websites have no problems with others linking to images they post, and in fact, they take that into account. Still, some don't like it, and your image will be replaced with an image saying not to hotlink. If you find one of the images you wish to post does this, you should rehost the image somewhere.

* Look Before You Leap: To help you find those images that can't be hotlinked, use the Preview Post button before you sumbit your post. Any images that are protected from being hotlinked should show as such.

Need An Image Host?
As I mentioned in Das Roolz, sometimes, a website will have disabled hotlinking of images. If you need a place to rehost the image, I suggest using imgur. It's free, you don't have to sign up (though you can if you like), and you can easily upload an image from your computer, or a web address.

Photobucket is another option, though it seems to me that they keep lowering the bandwith free accounts have...

Please, though, don't use yFrog. The links you get from them create a small thumbnail, and when clicked, takes you to a small version of the image, making you click it to get a slightly larger version. I suppose that's good for large images...
