Funniest moment for me during the TF was when Romulus, in the 3rd mission, ran like an Olympic sprinter away from us. Was pretty comical having to chase such a big guy around.

Sadly the tank team I was on... tanked. Broke apart even before it started the SSA. Ended up running PUG DfB for two hours instead.

Myself and two others were adamant that this was tanker tuesday, not normal team play. He called us all "shitballs" or something equally as eloquent.
Team broke up and my husband and I got on another team for about 30 minutes until it broke up because everyone was so soured from the beginning crap with that one idiot lead to have any fun.
Tanker Tuesday is for TANKS, not for whatever AT you feel like inviting, an the portion of the team that objected to the invite of the other AT's didn't need to be talked down to or sweared at.

I swear to Bob that it's not normally like that. Sure, we on occasion have events that veer off and hit a wall going about Mach 10. But normally we don't have someone attempting to usurp it like this.

yeah in the end i told them i'd take care of it, so I quit that team and was going to form another all tanker one, but Then I 'thought' i heard that war was assembling a team, though he really wasn't , so I kinda messed it up there, but in the end we still got a couple of missions in.
Don't worry Hyper, as a devoted tanker tuesday man, I know things are usually much cooler than that 
I guess we just ran into a case of the freedumbs (not my words )

So which server would be the best to get a second first impression of Tanker Tuesday?
It's cool, I figured if it was going to happen at some point in TT's run, then it would ultimately be on the Freedumb server.
I have been running on TT teams for years, and I can barely stand playing tanks, but somehow TT makes it too enjoyable to pass up.
I'm just surprised he bowed out when I told him that if he didn't like how TT ran then he could leave and give me the star and I would be happy to lead. He left and the team disintigrated from there.
But like I said...if this was going to happen anywhere it'd have to be good ol' Freedom =P

Wow our ITF team (non +4x8) had a blast. We sailed through it like a battleship in a hurricane. I don't think anyone missed out on watching the ants crawl through the cracks in the cobble stone.
When we arrived at taking Imperious' hometown, we fought ever inch of the way until we arrived where Romulus waited for us. Then...then it became a blood bath. Try as we may, we could not take him down. It was a valiant effort; however, in the end, we were forced to stop due to time and our inability to defeat him.
Overall, I'd say TT, for our team, was a success if not a practice of futility at the end. I was able to level twice too! Woohoo! I do look forward to doing it again. Thanks for the fun ya'll!

My 2 infs worth would be Champion or Justice as well. Both have dedicated Tuesdays, Champion being the first Tuesday of the month, and Justice being the second Tuesday of every month. Liberty is now also an option as the event is running two Tuesdays a month there (check with Tax E or the Liberty Forums from more info). Or, roll one on each to get your full monthly Tanking fix! |

About Freedom, sorry to hear we had a rough spot. My time was limited last night both before and during the event, so I wasn't really able to do much.
It's unfortunate that we had a team lead that wanted to go against the grain of the event, but I think you all did the right thing by quiting the team and starting a new one. Hopefully once the new to TTers get used to the idea and the fact that Tanks can handle what's thrown at them, there won't be the knee-jerk reaction to wanting a diversified team during the event.
Thanks again to TBoxer in he's first "Pointman" appearance, Witty, all team leaders and all vet Tanks who helped get the event rolling.

How late does TT usually run?
I have to work on Tuesday nights now, but if it runs late enough I might be able to hop on for a bit when you guys hit Pinnacle on the 31st.
I've been saying I'll join you on Pinnacle for the better part of a year now and haven't made it yet. Still not going to promise anything, but I'll try if I get off work early enough.
