Manticore TF sends you to Ms Liberty in Fort Trident?? Hmmm

Is this a recent change? Does it perhaps have anything to do with the SSA and Statesman's death? Or was it always like this?

That has pretty much always been in there since Fort Trident was put in-game. At least, the ability to talk to Ms. Liberty there as opposed to her normal spot in Atlas was. Not sure when the TF telling you to go there specifically was put in, though.

Yeah. I never bother with her in Fort Trident.

(But Ms. Liberty sure does get around, doesn't see? Seems like no matter if you go to Atlas or Fort Trident, she's always gotten there ahead of you. )

Statesman dies? Crap. I guess instead of reading the forums, I should play the game.

Larry: Owen, what the hell did you do to my wife?
Owen: Well I don't want to say on the phone - all I can tell you is that I killed her last night.

Similarly, in the Posi TF, when Posi tells you to go speak to the Security Chief in Croatoa, you can actually just speak to the Security Chief in Steel, who is just on the other side of the statue from Posi.

Actually, if that comes as a surprise to you, it means that you've been playing the game more than reading the forums.

Statesman is not dead in-game. However, a recent announcement revealed that he will soon.

And before anyone can whine about spoilers:

The same with one of the new lowbie mission arcs. The mission tells you to go to Croatoa, but you can hit the Steel one as well.

The Devs need to be more careful about copypasta.

Aha! Thanks! Although in my own defense, it IS the Winter Event after all, and these snowballs ain't gonna to throw themselves...

I'll bet Statey falls down a poison-tipped elevator shaft. I don't see it happening any other way.
