Best Simpsons Episode Ever IMO

Has to be the most recent Christmas Special.

Is one of the alternate future episodes where Bart is a deadbeat dad, Man has colonized the Sun, Michigan is under Sharia law, email is replace with bmail, Prince Harry is called Bloody Harry, and we still don't hear what Maggie sounds like. The show is riddled with other fun future tidbits and it is extremely difficult to think of a Simpsons episode that I like better if not impossible.

It was pretty funny, but I wouldn't even call it this season's best. That would be the episode with Neil Gaiman, which was hilarious.

The best Future Simpsons episode was "Lisa's Wedding."

No episode will EVER top the Chili Cook-Off where Homer eats Guatemalan insanity peppers. It had Johnny Cash, for cripes sake.

But this one wasn't too bad. Especially during the christmas photo montage. Apparently Lisa experimented in college; she brought home -two- girlfriends in one picture.

For me, the best Simpson's episode ever was 1997's Homer's Enemy.

Frank Grimes was pure genius. Best part of it? They found a way to make fun of Frank Grimes one more time in a much later episode in which Homer finds the funeral pamphlet for Grimes and says, "Oh yeah, what ever happened to that guy?"

I'd have to agree with that.

Sideshow Bob as an ally and Lisa being wrong. There was only one stain on it when they were discussing how Frank Grimes Jr. was conceived - "But he wasn't married". I mean really, 1997 and they still pegged the whole marriage before children?

Still one of the best. Steamed gentile not withstanding

All good episodes, but it is IMO the best since I prefer Halloween specials and those rare few episodes that show the future. Certainly is an interesting future to live in.

Is there somewhere that I can see this episode?

Not sure about "proper" channels, but bittorrent and searching "simpsons online" in google will give some places to watch new episodes of Simpsons.

I could accept Homer's Enemy as the best episode, but my favorite is still the Scorpio episode "You Only Move Twice".

Homer: Uh... you have any sugar around here?

Hank Scorpio: Sugar? Sure. *takes two handfuls of sugar out of his pockets*

Hank Scorpio: There you go. Sorry it's not in packages. Want some cream? *reaches back into his pockets*

Homer: Uh... I... no.

Yes, another great episode. Little bit of trivia for you; both episodes were written by John Swartwelder.

Ah, yes.... the peppers cultivated by the inmates of a Guatemalan prison for the criminally insane.
As I recall, Johnny Cash played his spirit animal - a coyote.

I'm already planning to use the Coyote Travel power, and at least once deliver a "Find you soulmate, Homer" as someone walks away.
