From my experience with 3 children myself. You will find out soon enough, that he's part blaster. Miniturg has a projectile launcher that you will experience, that fires yellow (usually) liquod, since he used the power colors before his appearance. It has been pre-slotted with a few HAMI-O's, for 42.4% +ACC, +DMG, +END. Good luck with that one! My children, all girls, were slotted in the damn Sonic Powerset! LOL

Fun fact: When we got shuffled off to the delivery room, a whole team of ER staff came in, for the wife and the baby. I got pushed behind the birthing bed, wondering WTH was going on. I asked the Doc if she wanted me out of the way so they could do their work.

"No, stay right there," she said, "and hold her right foot."

Rising to the occasion, I did exactly that. "Okay, got it. What next?"

"Just hold it like that."

Awkward silence, as I look down at my wife, who's having contractions.

"Don't worry," I assured her softly.

"I've got your foot."

One of my finer comedic gold moments, right there.

Gratz on the newest sonic/mental controller in the family.

(My Nana told me that when I was born (four days early, guess I was in a rush to get out and join the comedy), I had to be kept in an incubator or bubble or somesuch for almost a month because of respiratory/immune problems, so I can imagine how frustrating it is for you and your wife.)

At any rate, I got your PM, and stuff is on its way - I tried to get it there before Christmas, but it might be a bit late.

That's basically what's happening; lungs were a little unprepared for primetime, so they put him on enriched oxygen to get past the hump (he could breathe fine mechanically, but his alveoli were underdveloped).

The GOOD news is, all the paraphernalia is gone! CPAP mask is off, IV is gone, the only things that're left are the monitoring feeds (which annoy him a bit but not nearly as much as the other stuff) and his feeding tube. They moved it to his nose, so he can practice oral feeding this week.

Saw him last night, and he was MUCH more relaxed now that all that junk was removed! I'll see if I can't take a pic for public consumption tonight to share if you guys're interested.

Sammy: Thanks SO much for donating to his registry!

Grats, Turg!

My son (our first) was only about a week early, but had a few seizures right after he was born, so spent about a week in the NICU hooked up to all that jazz (and the blue light for jaundice. I still have his hat and foam rubber shades from that ), so I sympathize with wanting him unhooked from all the machinery.

Glad to hear he's doing well, and your wife and yourself as well.

Thank you for sharing the picture, Dr T. What a precious Christmas gift!

May MiniTurg continue to grow strong and healthy. Please pass on a snuggle when he's up for it.

Awwww, it's a Turglet!

BTW, Turg, I heard that Leandro offered to teach the kid how to play with fire and electricity. Thank you for having the good sense to turn him down.

Also, FedEx says package #1 got there - did it?
