Finding Non DFB Teams
Hello Nicoliy, SGs are a wonderful part of having regular teaming and that could certainly be an option, but so are global chat channels. I am not a mod (that I recall) in any of the more active ones but there are several or even all of them that call out for people to join task forces, teams, etc. on a regular basis and that would solve your teaming problem.
From the various people you meet in the chat channels you may also find yourself a suitable SG. Some of the chat channels are private and you are not able to join them without an invite but as peeps get around to reading this post, they will most likely send invites for chat channels -- you could also mention it in the "help" channel which is global and perhaps they will see that and shoot out an invite for you.
Of the chat channels I am involved with, Champions United and DarkGuard Network (DGN) are the most active but there is also Champion BMT (of which I do not belong) that I believe is also very active.
Keep in mind that the Champion boards are pretty slow as of late but your post will not go entirely unnoticed -- also, teaming on a holiday weekend when so many are traveling could have contributed to the issue of teams this past weekend.
One last tip, when you can't find one you can always organize one! Often times when my sg isn't around or everyone is half afk for personal reasons, I will put together my own teams using the search feature, sending tells before sending invites and making sure to let the people you are sending tells to know what you are doing as a team. My tells are usually something like "Lvl 30ish hero tip team lf2m, are you interested in teaming?", I am pleasantly surprised at how many people jump at the chance for teammage but don't want to form the teams =]

You'll definitely want to get onto some global chat channels:
1. Champions United
2. BMT of Champion (strict rules, invite required)
3. Champions Unleashed (newer channel, used infrequently)
4. ChampioNexus (strict rules, invite required -- send /tell to @Amygdala)
5. Champion Trials
6. Champion Redside
I think BMT of Champion and Champions United might be full. Champions Unleashed is a newer channel, aimed at folks who weren't able to get on either BMT or United, but, it hasn't really taken off. Nexus is a newer channel, not too many folks on it, but it seems to be getting some traction. Champion Trials is more geared towards 50 incarnate content, but I do see it used sometimes for lower level content. Champion Redside is geared toward villain content.
I'm on all these channels, but Champions United is my preferred channel, as it's open to any content discussion, or even just idle banter. Some of the other channels have rules against, for example, discussions about farming (there are some rather overzealous mods that power-trip and summarily kick from the channel at the slightest deviation from channel rules). Champions United also seems to have the most people on at any given time compared with the others.
So I don't miss anything, I have a tab window dedicated to only these global channels, which helps ensure I see everything being posted to them (i.e. messages don't get lost in other channels' chatter, such as broadcast, local, etc.).
I wish you luck in your quest for teamage.
Q. Just wondering Posi, where are the new dance emotes we were told would come with GR?

I'm also the other moderator in ChampioNexus, so bear that in mind if/when you decide to join.
G'luck with your teamin'.

whats nice about ChampioNexus is that when that tab lights up, i KNOW there is something going on in game and most likely worthy to pay attention to.
If anything, Join a couple, get a feel for them, then decide.
I will be sending you an invite to Darkguard.
Fair warning, it is a free speech channel, anything goes, language and themes are uncensored.
If you need anything or have any questions, let me now.

Welcome to Champion!
Spatch gave a pretty thorough list of global channels on Champion that you may wish to try out. I would join a couple to start to see which you prefer.
If you're interested in joining ChampioNexus, please send myself or @Cobalt Azurean a tell. As others have mentioned, it is a more heavily moderated channel and is kept focused on teams/TFs/SFs/trials that are forming and questions about the game. For more information, please click here.
If you'd like help with anything else, please don't hesitate to send me a tell @Amygdala. I'm usually up for teaming and the like.

I can add you to all but two of the channels that Spatch quoted, just give me a yell @Myrmydon anytime you like.

I'll get right on that.

Champion,
A few weeks ago I started a new Scrapper (on my home server of Champion) and with a few exceptions, the only teams I can seem to find are DFB. I used DFB to get to 22 and SO levels, as well as a couple other times to finish off a couple bars to level; however, I'd much prefer to group in regular content up to 50 (missions, TF, ect). At this point I am lvl 39 and have only found 3 teams over the holiday weekend that were not DFB.
In this dilemma, I started thinking that maybe the issue is that I have not joined a SG yet. So in this I ask, are there any SG out there that still group regularly and have use for a lonely scrapper. I tend to game after 8:30 mountain time and would love to join you if so. My global is @nicoliy and this character is Officer Parable.
Thanks,
Nicoliy
