Does Energy Cloak defense govern by suppression ?

The wording in Mids leads me to believe that Energy Cloak does NOT suffer from suppression normally listed for other stealth powers. But I also can't imagine why it wouldn't.

So I ask.

No, the defense bonus in EC does not suppress when out of stealth. Actually, the stealth itself only suppreses when clicking glowies.

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

I don't think stealth powers in primary or secondary powersets DO suppress. I'm checking all the ones I can think of in RedTomax and none of them say they do, whereas Concealment!Stealth does have a suppressable aspect to its defense.

De minimis non curat Lex Luthor.

From what I remember of my small amount of stalker playtime, Hide's defense bonus does suppress once discovered, but I could be (and probably am) vastly wrong.

True. But stalker's defense in Hide was made high in part to avoid getting kicked out of 'hide' state. Check the AoE defense, its ginormous.

It's worth noting that your character on-screen fades in to visibility when you attack, as opposed to how Cloak of Darkness keeps its visual effect while you attack.

's doesn't make things plural.

OTOH Stalker Hide when suppressed gives about half the def to all compared to the Cloaks (Dark Armor, EA)
