I have a master's in graphic design you ******* idiot. I never brought it up because I don't feel like I need to have proof that my work is or is not good. I don't sell myself out and commercialize my art. I create things for myself, and for close friends as gifts, because I enjoy it, and my friends and family are appreciative when they receive my work as gifts.
Nobody is ever justified in telling someone that their art is good or bad. Art means different things to everybody. I personally, as well as most other people may hate your art and think it's mediocre at best, but you obviously think it's good. And that's what matters. If you think it's good, then that's great. It's worthwhile to make. You don't need our approval for the art to mean something. Vinnie doesn't need your (Or anyone else's for that matter) approval for his rap to be "good". So stop acting like vinnie's rap is worthless because you specifically don't care for his material. He enjoys battling, and it makes other people laugh. Maybe more people would enjoy it if it wasn't so hilariously offensive, maybe not. But who cares? Do what you want to do, not what other people want you to do.
I'm not even trying to troll you at this point. For somebody who claims to know so much about art, it's amazing that you haven't ever learned any of this.
To everyone else:
I suspect the reason battlewraith needs to belittle vinnie's hobbies is because a few members of WARE have belittled him and his hobby - playing CoH. Battlewraith knows that Vinnie is vastly superior to him in his hobby, so he feels the need to act as though he is superior to Vinnie in Vinnie's hobby.
To Battlewraith: sometimes you need to accept that people are better than you at stuff. I used to think I was the best player ever and could beat anyone once I got enough practice. After joining WARE, it quickly became apparent that Silit, HP, Vinnie, and most other members would poop on me in just about every other game as well as CoH (Currently tf2. Sorry hp for dumb move where I didn't uber you. Wasn't paying attention). You need to just understand that you don't know everything.

This whole discussion about art is beside the point anyways. You and some others have a serious lack of reading comprehension. I didn't mention the rap battle to disparage Vinnie as an artist. I'm pointing to his hypocrisy. He calls someone out for resorting to a racial slur--when anyone can watch him doing basically the same thing on a grander scale in a video. It's a small point that is apparently easily lost in the sackriding and hysteria that followed.

I pointed out that barrier using racial slurs as a trolling tactic years ago was an indication of his inability to properly troll people. I'm personally not a huge fan of using the word sand-******, or anything similar. If you think that a 6 bar joke set-up is similar to words like that, okay. I don't.
Based on what I posted to barrier, you seem to think that my battle "in a nutshell" was racial slurs because I "ran out of options". Your statement is wrong no matter which way you look at it. I didn't "fall back" on racial jokes, the lengthiest round of the battle featured the least amount of race references bar for bar.

pretty sure my most successful troll was the +30 page set of replies over asking ego if she was stupid for AB'ing me on a test league match.

I really don't get how any of this is important to CoH.
These are CoH boards after all.
