Yes, the third build has always been associated with having your Alpha slot unlocked (by definition, of course, Incarnate content). If you no longer have access to Incarnate content, you no longer have access to a third build (at least that's the way it SHOULD be -- can't say I've tested it myself).

I've always more thought that the third slot was just unlocked by the story arc more than it required having the alpja slot. More just an additional reward than anything else.
Of course I've not seen anyone really mention it anywhere before now, soI could be entirely wrong.

it is unlocked when you unlock the alpha slot, if you downgrade you should still have the 3rd build since it is most likely linked to the alpha unlocked badge than having anything slotted there

Hi again. I just wanted to update this topic for anyone who might have been curious. It would indeed appear that access to the third build is in fact retained, even after an account goes premium. Not exactly game breaking news, but there ya go. Anyhow, have a great Monday.

I never realized this, but I guess our third build is associated with Mendor Ramiel's arc and the Alpha slot. When I downgrade to Premium status, will I lose access to this build? I ask because I just got finished decking this particular build out last week, not wanting to waste a respec. Had I realized that it was some sort of "incarnate" build slot, I would have simply respec'd my second build.
