No more generic Powers

Hide, Placate, Build Up, Assassin Strike.
Seriously that's four powers that are identical in all stalker melee.
Assassin strike has vary to due damage types (smashing, energy, etc.)
Give me different debuffs for each character.
Placate probably can't vary too much but it's like how tankers all have taunt.

Hide, each armor usually has something they excel at defense wise (or regen). Why not add it to hide (cold defense, regen, higher positional). Each hide should be a little different.

Build up, seriously. You can make minor variations with each one. higher damage with energy, fire, smashing. Hell maybe add a debuff and rename the power.

You give four powers that are identical in all their melee and armor, kind of boring.

Seriously. They sound more like inherent powers for stalkers.

Iron Crane - Inv/SS Tanker (Champion)
Fox Die - EM/Nin Stalker (Infinity)
Azure Hunter - Arc/Ene Blaster (Infinity)

Maybe some of them should be, like hide, placate, and maybe assassin strike. That way they can add some helpful stuff to the archtype and sets.

I have long wished that Hide and maybe Assassin Strike were slottable inherent powers.

Placate does not need to be inherent, because it takes the same place in powersets that Confront does on Scrappers or Taunt does on Brutes and Tankers. Or said another way, it probably should not be inherent unless all of those are made inherent on the ATs in which they are found.

AS would be nice to have inherent, but that does create challenges for some powersets, because we're not going to get extra slots for it. So we'd get back (usually) an AoE attack, but not have any slots for it unless we chose not to slot AS.

Hide usually doesn't get many extra slots, especially since it was changed to cost zero endurance. The usual exceptions are when it's used to mule special IOs and maybe if someone is desperate for a few percent more +defense to reach the softcap. That makes it a good candidate for being made inherent, IMO. While perhaps not as functionally attractive as getting back an AoE from our primaries, I think it's something simple enough the devs could get behind. I would love to see some of the powers Hide took the place of return in Stalker secondaries. Ninjitsu would, of course, need something new created, since it was a Stalker secondary from day one, and has never been proliferated.

Personally, I wish more sets followed the lead of claws/Dual blades and had a follow up style power. So you can attack AND get your buff without having to stop. That said, I do also like having the ability to buildup before AS. So maybe not all sets. But definitely more of them.

I very much think Hide and Assassin's Strike should be inherent. Stalkers constantly lose out on good powers because of these two things that are really the foundation for what makes a stalker a stalker. Placate and Build-Up are fine, although I really wish not *every* set had to have build up. It would be nice to have some variation to provide different styles of gameplay.

If you had one power in your primary that, while hidden, was an assassin's strike but while unhidden was another attack, or activated quicker/had different stats, Similar to momentum's varying attack speeds, I'd really love it.

Stalker should get a massive redesign, with inherents for primaries and secondaries:
Hide inherent, and let defensive sets as they are for scrappers with lower HP.
Placate inherent, and let the AoE primary attack that stalker always loose.
