I'm looking to join one of these channels as I move my Corruptor into incarnate content.
What I'm not sure about is why the new channel? Someone here actually mentions in the main channel thread that yes, too many channels water down the content.
So this is a new channel because?
Don't get me wrong, I'm just wondering if something happened, or is wrong with the other task force/trial channel?
The channel sounds cool... I want to join one of them.... about the silent mode thing I hope you guys make it easy enough to find out, or announce events frequently. (That is to say in silent mode I can't ask: "Hey is anyone running a Lady grey tf?")

As stated in the original post, the channel operators will routinely go through the channel membership list and un-silence and welcome newcomers. If you should find yourself waiting a while to become un-silenced, send a global tell to @Celestial Lord, @Cherry Cupcakes, @James Donner, or @WickedWendy.

I just have to give props to this channel....
Everytime I've been on basically it's been perfect for team forming... incarate stuff, TF's... It's been really good.
The thing is it's not a super chatty chanenl like some of the other ones, so you don't find it interrupting your gameplay.

It is a new channel like all the other new channels because the person who gets to choose who is silenced is different.
This is the exact issue with why we need an in game true global LFT channel.
New folks are silenced because of course they would not want to start a team.

Wrong again. New folks are auto-silenced because should trouble arise (and, people being people, it will, sadly enough), should someone be silenced by a channel op, all they would have to do is leave the channel and rejoin to become unsilenced and start trouble again. It's already happened on another Exalted server global channel. This is the only way, save making the channel private, to get around that.
Were it a perfect world, there would be no need for another Exalted server global channel, and there would be no need to auto-silence newcomers. Unfortunately, we do not live in a perfect world. In the meantime, I and the other Exalted League channel operators do what we can to make Exalted League as friendly a place for Exalted server players as reasonably possible.

Please understand my point - There are how many hundred Private globals now?
Why are you not stressing the adoption of one of the others already being used?
Honestly shouldn't all servers have these channels:
Exalted TF/SF
Exalted LFT
Exalted Trials
Why not promote the existing ones if it isn't to change who is in charge?

As Celestial stated, there is no use to get into the particulars as to why this was done. If you look back in the channel thread that lists them all, i even state i also feel that there are too many as it is.

The Exalted(VIP)channels, try joining one by opening the search channel option. If you can get in one, then be the voice of Exalted. Can't get people in just 1-3channels. No way. As Celestial said, everyones different and no ones perfect. More channel options, Same Mods(If not, need to communicate to have near same MoTDs) It'll help the server, limit the problems puts people into a better area on where they belong. Serious players with this channel, Relaxed/somewhat soloers in that channel, hardcore/elite with that other channel, and RPers in Whatwasthatchannelname?
Being a moderator is not an easy task. Have to keep scanning the channel(for silenced for joining) keeping track of blacklisted(perma silenced) and being fair or try to by sticking with one set of rules. Also its a lot of drama. I was Head mod on the LFA channel that I created 1year ago to this day on Liberty. 1200people in 6months not bad for a server for liberty. I learned my lesson. I will never be the Head of a channel, again. I do give support to Cherry, Celestial, and the lead mods on the channels. It is a lot of work.

I see I am not communicating my thoughts properly.
We have global channels that can help to organize your event whether it is a TF, Trial or mission - or even PvP.
They should to be easy to recall all the same on each server like the ones I mentioned earlier.
If we add MORE channels this just makes things more confused. If someone feels the need to add more it is because either they didn't like how the other one was run - so they want to start one run "correctly" as they see it or the other one is full so that is fair enough.
I am not trying to start an arguement - I am seeking understanding here. The fact that he won't go into it sounds exactly like - I am taking my ball and starting another game - if so good luck.

Hades, the reason this channel was created is probably a private issue and one that the creators aren't willing to share. If you knew them, you'd be able to make some educated guesses.
And since it's apparent that an answer won't be provided, I suggest finding out the answer to the only question that should really matter to you. "Do I like the channel and want to be in it."

Exalted League is a semi-social channel for Exalted server players to congregate and form or find teams, Task / Strike Forces, trials, raids, and events. Casual discussion is welcome, as long as it is kept to PG-13 in nature and does not overwhelm the channel and / or prevent the channel from serving its primary function of enabling Exalted server players to form or find teams.
To join, type in your chat box:

While Exalted League is a public channel, all new members are auto-silenced by default to prevent spam and such. Our channel operators will periodically review the channel members list and un-silence newcomers.

The channel rules are few, but are as follows:
1. While Exalted League's primary goal is to enable the Exalted server playerbase to form or find teams, Task / Strike Forces, trials, raids, and events, casual discussion is welcome as long as it is kept to PG-13 in nature and does not overwhelm the channel so as to prevent it from fulfilling its primary mission.
2. Advertising, soliciting, or seeking farms or PLing is not allowed.
3. Advertising or soliciting for other channels, supergroups, or villaingroups is not allowed.
4. Chat spamming the channel is prohibited.
5. Political and / or religious discussions are prohibited.
6. Disrespecting or harassing other players is not allowed.
Should channel operator intervention become necessary, the offender will receive a verbal warning or silence at the channel operator's discretion.
