Also, my forum handle doesn't show as VIP, which is odd, as I've never interrupted my subscription to the game.
Would love a comment on that as well.

Update: I received mail from Support this morning stating that:
"The Development Team is currently working on a resolution for an issue that is preventing the yearly Veteran badges from awarding. Once a fix has been completed and tested, it will be made available in a future patch. "

I should have had mine back in October but alas, still nothing. It'll get fixed when it gets fixed. Just another in a long list of minor things that need fixed that aren't game breaking.

I have encountered the same issues here - I posted this earlier on a different thread:
"Same issue here - paid subscriber since October 2005 with no breaks. I should have gotten 6 year badge back in October. When I didn't get it initially, I thought it may be delayed due to the changes recently. I submitted a ticket back on December 5th to ask what the problem was. I have since been sent 3 (clearly cut and paste response) emails stating that the ticket was being "transferred" to someone else.....no resolution as of December 14th. I got a NCsoft Support Survey asking about their outstanding service on December 11th and I left appropriate feedback at the poor service - I guess closing tickets is more important than fixing problems. Of course in the meantime I have gotten 5 spam emails from NC Soft trying to sell me additional items. Basically disgusted at this stage. "
It appears selling us more virtual stuff (even if VIP) is more important than fixing issues.

It's not a trivial bug, every badge plays an important part to my reason for playing CoH.

Taking in the money is the non-trivial part.
Bugs related to delivery of various items paid for are trivial.
