Not sure where else to post this, so posting here. Is there a way for a premium player to do the incarnate stuff? Basically can I pay a one time fee to "unlock" the incarnate content and then do it without paying a monthly fee, or is it only available to pure VIP accounts?

Nope, Incarnate content and abilities are for VIP subscribers only.

It's the one incentive left for being subcribed.

Yep, everything else, and I do mean everything, you can pay for and never have to give them another dime.

Incarnates are the last carrot to keep people subscribing. If Incarnates were available to Premium players, you'd see a huge influx of cash as people shelled out a bunch all at once for the stuff they want, then it would drop to a trickle because everyone would HAVE everything they want already.

Personally, I don't find it to be all that effective of a carrot anyway.

Oh I'm not missing it

This was just for my second account that is currently free.

Well, incarnates are the last carrot IN GAME that they have left. I still would say use of the forums is an out of game incentive.

Non-VIP's also cannot pay rent on a SG base, though nowadays that's probably even less of a carrot than incarnate content.

By extension, I assume that also means they can't have a personal SG. If they can, they can't have it (or at least have access to it) for long if they are the only member, and they can't pay rent.

If this is the case, I'd call that a significant carrot and perhaps also a fair sized stick.

Well... The one-month fee to pay SG rent is set at $15. On the plus side you only have to pay every other month when your energy is shut off. So $7.50.

That's one way to look at it.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

I agree. The revolving and often locked hospital door is not my favored play style.

P.S. The SG "problem" should be resolved by the personal bases, purchasable by everyone, we all know are coming.
