So was on a PUG last nite, foofer'in around and this convo lead to that convo that led to this basic theme.

"So they're removing knockback for knockup shortly which will be nice for my Eng/blaster"

You find me here asking this simple question; When, where, confirmed, rumor?

I glanced at the forums here but didnt notice anything... So just curious if this is a confirmed item, if there is any word as to a 'general' timeframe that we know of, or was that simply hopeful thinking/general in-game chat rumors?

This seems like just a rumor, and an incorrect one at that. Never even heard that the Devs might be doing this, though I would like it done on certain powers.

I still think the best compromise to the long-standing KB debate is a -50% KB IO. Limit it to one per power so that the strongest KB powers retain some KB, but the majority can be sent below the KB threshold by choice, and with a small sacrifice (the slot). I'd gladly give up the slot for some powers (I'm looking at you Handclap).

As long as this didn't obey the Rule of 5, I might actually be able to play a Peacebringer.

The best fix might just be to add a toggle to ALL characters that has 1 and only 1 effect. When toggled on it reduces ALL KB effects to mag .67 and when toggled off the KB mags are calculated normally.

POOF everyone has their KB customized as they wish and they can switch it from mission to mission or even spawn to spawn.

and by the way..... PUT KB BACK INTO POWER BOOST.

This seems to be a rumor spawned by the fact that at some event somewhere Posi(i believe) mentioned they were looking into a "fix" for the KB woes.

Never were any specifics given, never any promises made, and no indication whatsoever about what that "fix" might be.

Anyone saying anything specific is in the works is either lying, mistaken, or taking part in rampant and unfounded speculation.
