We've added several new forums... yet no Paragon Market forum?
The forum is slowly converting so don't expect everything all at once. Zwil has noted that there will be additions to the forum over the next month.
pohsyb: so of all people you must be most excited about the veats
Arachnos Commander: actually, I am
pohsyb: I mean you kinda were one already anyways ^_^
Arachnos Commander:
Do we really need a separate forum for the Paragon Market?
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
Well, realistically, would it ever have any traffic that wasn't "prices are too high" or "X should be free" or "why don't you sell inf direct" or "I want to just BUY that badge you have to kill a zillion $ANNOYINGBADGUYs for"?
Well, I would like to see what the costume pieces look like before I buy them. I can see them in the costume creator, but generally that isn't where or when I would purchase them. Marketing could show us the different versions of the items, and different ways to use them, perhaps. Or start at thread like someone put up after Steampunk: "Show us how you use the new ____ Costume Pack!"
In fact, there are a few items I'd like to see before purchasing. It would also be a good spot to put in promotional videos for new powersets, or the SSA, for example.
Since the market appeared, I've felt like Paragon Studios isn't really taking advantage of what they've got here. What we currently have is a price list, and that's about it. There are so many ways to get into the price list, but once you do, that's all you've got.
Now, if is how the company wants to sell things, if that's working for 'em, that's fine. But speaking for myself, as a consumer, I'd like to see how some of these items work, or what they look like - a short explanation of how to use new items and a few pictures would be welcome before I buy something. I'm not too keen on purchasing items "sight unseen," or with no user-friendly explanation of how they work.
I can understand the desire to limit comments like "THIS SUCKS!" but honestly, most on-line places do have a place for customer ratings. I have a lot more faith in what I purchase if a place has the guts to allow negative comments. That means the positive comments are something I have some faith in. Of course, the whole forum could be all stickies. I wouldn't prefer that, but I'd still go in there to literally SEE what's new, and to learn about the different items that are available.
I'd be in that Forum every Tuesday!

We've added one (1) new forum, not several. Unless I'm missing something or getting forgetful in my old age...which is definitely the case according to Mrs. Z.
The Builds Workshop is fairly cut and dry. We knew what we wanted out of it and it was pretty simple to put up.
We're still considering a Paragon Market forum, however Avatea and I are discussing the format and structure of it. This is combined with the fact that we're taking a measured approach to forum changes and basically not making a bunch of sweeping changes all at once.
We'll keep everyone updated.

I think they should just add an "Ultimus" forum and be done with it.

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!
If I became a red name, I would be all "and what would you mere mortals like to entertain me with today, mu hu ha ha ha!" ~Arcanaville
I am still wondering why isn't there a forum directly related to this. Imagine a forum dedicated where a person could post feedback on items they bought, post ideas for new items in the store they'd like to see (How about buying 100 points for increased character biography space...), questions on the store, etc.
This seems like a no brainer yet instead we get a forum for "builds" which is pretty redundant since we have the AT forums...
