A little help

Hi guys, not played in about 6 months and it's suddenly changed to Free2Play lol. I've upgraded to ViP as i cannot go without all my character slots and stuff, but i have loads of add-on packs plus all the games i bought, just wondering if they count for nothing now :s

Is it basically the same as before except it has free users? i know you've probably been asked this loads of times before but i'm feeling a little lost at the moment, thought i'd ask while the 'parts' are downloading, which to me is weird in itself.

If you are a VIP, very little has changed. You still retain all the Vet bonuses you acumulated and any items (Booster packs, etc) you purchased.

Going forward is a little different, and the devs are currently (to my understanding) working on a post to explain to us exactly when we VIPs will get our rewards (400 Paragon Points + 1 Paragon Reward Token + 1 Free Server Transfer per month).

Eidt: Oh, and I forgot - access to the VIP server, Exalted. No Freems allowed there.

Basically, yeah. There's the new shop, where VIPs get 400 points as a stipend every billing day, and the Paragon Rewards where your old Vet Rewards are now. You'll get a token for those each month rather than every three months now.

All Veteran Rewards and add-ons you've bought are still there. If they aren't, for some reason, contact support, because they're supposed to be.

Other than that, you may notice Galaxy City is different. More on fire and full of aliens. They blew it up, basically, and Atlas Park is shinier than you remember.

The parts download is so you can jump in and make a character while the game downloads the tutorial zone and the two starter zones. While you play those, it will download the rest of the game. Or you can just let it finish and not worry about it.

Ah ok, that's great lol, much thanks to everyone who replied I already had most of not all the content before ie. booster packs, GR etc. so i was just worried it was going to disappear. I was just getting to grips with the incarnate system last time i played but i bet thats changed too now :P it's all a bit of a muddle for me. This is why i hate leaving this game, so much happens in 6 months it's like playing something new.

If the devs do come out with a big post about whats changed and why i'd be over the moon :P trying to find info about the change is like getting blood from a stone atm besides the basic stuff.
