With that being said I have to give it to Kon. His nerd/gamer lines were killing me. And knowing you play a super hero MMO made it even funnier. You had some hilarious stuff in there too but I was just feeling his style a little more. It was close battle and very entertaining. Thanks for the post.
Yeah, it was Konflict's best performance. He was a lot hungrier for this battle than I was. I'm just glad my asian jokes went over. Also I had the best choke recovery since Soul Khan's Gary Coleman flip in Canada, so I'm satisfied overall.

Thanks for watching.

Oh snap, I saw your battle against Pop Culture, you two seem like you'd be a good team. Also, I never watched battling before this thread. Was never interested and seemed mostly just like two dudes yelling at each other, it's nice that at least you're not like that. Keep it up, yo.

Pop & I were free-styling for like 3 hours out in public last Sunday just cracking people up. November is going to be a lot of fun.

This is very much like the improv world. Most people think it is all thought up on the spot and that is mostly true, but when someone is involved with improv for a long time (much like freestyle rap) one invariably can pull past scenes/lines out of a hat and use them where appropriate for the best effect.

Thanks for posting this. Any kind of public perfromance requires courage.

I give Vinny props just going out there and taking his lumps in stride. I have watched quite a few of his broadcasted battles and even though he don't always win, he certainly has a unique style and he embraces it. That's more than I can say for alot of people who just like to piggyback on others.

Rapping is a natural talent, some are just naturally better at it than others, similar to most forms of playing music and even composing music.

Either way, anybody willing to share any kind of artistic talent in that fashion has my respect. Vinnie may not be the best Rap battler out there, and he's not the first nerdy white guy to do it, but he sticks himself out there and holds his own, and he does win plenty.

Hate him or not, you gotta give props to someone who does what he does.

Most top tier battlers have been performing off camera for years before reaching the level of popularity attained on Youtube.

I didn't start rhyming words together until a year ago.

In one year I've battled 8 times, and I have a record of 5-2 (Arguably 7-1). Plus I've faced people who are aspiring to attain actual music careers and some who make dope music. Next month I'm doing a 2 on 2 against a freestyle battler who has faced off against practically every West Coast legend, including NoCanDo (who won Scribblejam).

That's not too bad of a resume for one year of procrastination and no experience.

I have watched some of these and the battles are super-fun. The scene looks awesome, Hipster-Hop.

Waiting on some fighter or Poker cameos in the crowd, its Vegas after all.

Going to see spankrock and big freeda this friday so hyped.
