I agree, this sounds like a) the patch got borked on some servers and b) someone misconfigured Defiant and didn't tell it where the subscription DB is.
If that's all, they ought to be able to reconfigure Defiant and re-patch the borked servers without taking everything down.

The fact is that bugs are funny like that. I can't really be sure where it is, but as I've said, something similar has happened before, and it was a client side issue then.
Try the fix I've suggested; force the launcher to do a game repair. If that doesn't fix it, then I'll be more likely to agree with you that it's server side.

Still, none of us can be sure where the problem is. I'm just going by fragmented information I can see from the forums and past experience. Have any of you experiencing the problem tried a repair?

I just got done hassling a support staff member via live chat, he said he talked to the main team and they know about the issues

While this all sounds terribly broken... Am I the only one who wants to rush in and play like this?
It's like everywhere is a wild magic area...
Or we've all entered Pandemonium!
Maybe we could always have one server dedicated to this borked client?
Maybe lock certain people from the forums there when they've been bad?

I wanted to see the chaos, but haven't seen anything out of the ordinary in AP on Exalted.
