Did you buy one of the Astral Merit aura unlocks?
Are you talking about the Aura Unlocks, valued at 1 astral merit, that apply a voucher for 1 character via the global mail system? No, I have not. And I don't really know, but if that's only used through the global mail system I couldn't redeem it before I created a new character, could I?
If you're talking about the new auras, valued at 10 astral merits each, yes, I believe I bought a few of those. But I think I bought some on both accounts though.
Really hard to say what is going on. Your first account however, is right. You shouldn't have auras unlocked at level 1 without buy the unlock from the store or applying the astral merit reward.
Hmmmm, then I'm guessing I didn't miss an unlock feature through regular gameplay and this may just be a bug instead?

They're all the "normal" auras which can only be unlocked by purchasing Aura Unlocks on the Paragon Market or running the Lv30 Aura mission on each character, so it sounds like a bug.

Either you *did* unlock the auras and forgot, or it's a bug. You're supposed to be sent an email every time you spend points. I recommend you check your inbox and see if you can find anything there, maybe you accidentally purchased it while thinking you were buying something else?

So to clarify if I'm experiencing a bug, or more likely, I bought something when I was thinking I was getting something else in return...
When you buy an unlock for an aura in the costume creator, are you unlocking just that aura or all auras?
I do recall unlocking the Fireflies aura the other day on my 2nd account, but I thought that was *just* for the Fireflies aura. I'm guessing, through that unlock relay to the Paragon Market, that I actually bought the unlock for all auras.

Aura Unlock All characters can unlock the use of basic cosmetic "Auras" at Level 30 by doing an in-game mission (for free). Purchasing the "Auras Unlock" License allows your character(s) to equip a series of basic Auras without ever having to do the "Aura" mission. |
That's just me, but I'm usually misinterpreting rules to boardgames that I play with friends anyways. And they're always good enough to kindly point out my flaws in logic. Logic has never been my strong suit.

I actually feel that the account-aura and account-cape unlocks are the most reasonably priced things in the Paragon Market.
I really wish they could have better descriptions in the store, but until they can do an out of game store front, that will have to wait.

I find myself confused and I need help on the subject of aura unlocks.
I have 2 accounts, the first one is 7+ years old, second one is 5.5+ years old. The second account I bought 8 reward tokens and got it 'caught up' to the first account on the Paragon Rewards tree/shrub.
When I create a new character, the first account has mostly older auras locked ( Paragon Market lock is next to them ). These locked auras include:
Electricity, Fiery, Fireflies, Flies, Gaseous, Glow, Glowing Aura, Rocky Crumble, Smoky, Smoldering, Snow, Sparkles, Starburst Glow, Tendrils, Vaporous, Volcanic.
However, when creating a new character on my second account ( my newer account ), none of the auras are locked. I have not used the Paragon Market to unlock auras (I went looking and noticed that feature being offered for sale. I *do* know I have never purchased it)
Before I21 launched, throughout the years I had purchased every booster available on both accounts and the expansions (CoV, GR).
Can someone help me figure out why my first account does not have all the auras unlocked?
