Height/size change...

I'm sure this has been brought up before but I didn't feel like going through anymore pages looking for it. How about giving us the ability to change the height and size of characters when changing a costume. I'm not asking for a gender change but give us the ability to change the size and shape of a character so if someone wanted to give their oversized character a normal sized alter ego they could. Kind of like a Hulk/Bruce Banner type deal. It would be even cooler if when the player chose the civilian guise, their powers would shut off. Obviously this wouldn't apply with all characters and it would probably be a bit difficult to pull off but it would be a nice option for those that role play with their characters.

p.s. I know you can change the scales of a character but they'd still be the same height unless you changed the length of the legs, but that's only going to give a slight change in height.

This stuff is already in game. You should look into the SuperScience Booster pack-Cosmetic Surgeon. I'm not sure where it can be found in the new Paragon Market, but I'm sure it's in there. As far as I can recall you can change everything about your characters "costume" as if you were starting over from scratch.

I really think it's time that it was removed from the Science Pack and made a general point of the Tailor. Given it's functionality it seems 'cheap' to lock it away like that. Maybe once upon a time, but now? Not so much.

It figures. The ONLY booster pack I didn't buy, lol. Thanks, I'll be buying that one today.

Uhm Tech, you are aware that the game has stopped selling the boosters and split them up for individual sale on the new Paragon Market right?

They told us they were doing that back in July, and they stopped selling boosters in August.

The Super Tailor access is being sold on the new market by itself under Costumes/Tailor/Super Tailor Access for 800 points.

Yeah, it's being sold for the price of a power set, that's pretty criminal lol.

Nothing criminal about it. Businesses raise their prices on products every single day.

The devs told us back in July that after they removed the boosters and broke them down into separate purchases it was going to cost more. So we had plenty of time to buy what we didn't have.

Well, no doubt, however it's price tag is prolly double what it should be. Then again I suppose they balance the price by the fact your more likely to reroll if you don't have it. For every person you have that work on though, there is another miffed that they have to spend 10 bucks to even have full functionality of the tailors, VIP or no.

To be honest I think the reason is more along the lines of how popular our costume creator is. As with everything some people will think it's overpriced while others think it's a bargain because it's a bargain.

Personally I only used it once just after it came out because I had a perv harassing a character of mine (she's a child/teen heroine) trying to get me to ERP. He must have had me on his friends list because he'd show up every time I logged onto her.

I bought the Science booster, unlocked a second costume slot and used the Super Tailor to create a Humongous male in orange prison coveralls. The very next time he showed up to pester me I changed to my Prisoner costume and told him, "You my little puppy now baby. You gots a real purty mouf, Daddy gonna make you squeal lak a pig."

I never saw him again.

That's an awesome story. Almost makes me wish I was standing there to see that go down. It'd be funny to take that character of yours to Virtue's Pocket D to have fun with some of people RPing there, but ironically that'd probably be considered griefing on -your- part.

This is the only reason I bought the Science pack. I know many people (myself included) who have had concepts for characters that include them growing up.

We have wanted it all along and some of us bought it. Now, we can all have it for points. My only gripe is that it took so durned long.

It actually happened in Virtue's Pocket D.

Definitely puts a different twist on the whole Hulk-like "you wouldn't like me when I'm angry..." transformation.

Actually that SG that character is currently in (on Freedom) was inherited after a friend left the game. I moved her to Freedom (and into that SG) when GR launched to make room for a character I wanted to transfer to Virtue.

I have to admit that's pretty funny .
