What is the 30-day spending limit and how do I change it?
I don't think you can change it. That's the point.

I sort of assumed it was a parental control thing for kids.

Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
It has nothing to do with that, it's to prevent you from being able to go from Tier 1 to Tier 9 instantly by purchasing enough Paragon Points to get the required amount of Tokens.

There's a check box in your Master Account on the same screen where you can change/edit your credit card. Uncheck the box and you'll be able to spend more then $100 a month

While I'm at it I'll make a point of also checking the "wrong" checkbox on my account.
What's the measure for preventing instant T1->T9 then?

I don't know. I just know on beta I could turn off the $100 monthly limit and spend all I want.
maybe MARTy jannetty shows up at your house if you buy too many points at once and drop kicks you in the face.

It's not a measure to control your spending habits.
It's an effort to curb the power of an identity thief to drain your account. You can set a spending limit per card, to ensure that you can't have your credit card drained - keep in mind that temporarily overriding this limit is okay, but I (and I imagine NCSoft as well) strongly encourage you to use this to keep your account and your credit cards secure.
you could have it all

So I was in the store and tried to renew my subscription but was told that this would exceed my 30-day spending limit.
What the heck is this and how do I change it?
I haven't felt this much like a kid in over 20 years. Hehe, NCSoft has me on an allowance. =)
