Agge's correct as usual, of course (darn her fast typing! 
). Also, note that while they are designed to work on IOs, they do NOT enhance any procs such as the Numina's Convalescence +Regen/+Recovery, Performance Shifter +END, etc. (but they DO enhance benefits some procs provide, such as the +DEF from the Luck of the Gambler +7.5% Recharge IO).

Also also, I just had an hysterical thought:
Force Bolt with a level 50+5 KB enhancement (+95.5% in ONE ENHANCEMENT). Hellion Bowling just became waaayyy more awesome.

Does the bonus get bigger as the enhancement goes up in level?
Yes - It is affected by enhancement boosters.
No - It is not affected by enhancement boosters.
Any static bonuses (LotG Recharge - 7.5%, 3% Defense, etc) are not upgraded.

Easiest way to figure if boosters will work for your enhancement:
Question 1: Did you or another player craft it?
Y: GOTO Q2.
N: Will not work. (T/D/SO, Special-Os like Hami, Market Os)
Question 2: Does it have an enhancement value? (versus a proc or global bonus)
Y: WORKS! (the DEF part of DEF/+RECH)
N: Will not work. (the +RECH part of DEF/+RECH)
As a somewhat related tangent, enhancement UNSLOTTERS work on EVERY enhancement, they don't care about type.

Ok, I read what I could on the Paragon Wiki about them and tried to learn as much as I could before coming here to ask. But I wound up being confused.
Anyways, do Enhancement boosters only work on enhancements sets like Karma or Ghost Widows embrace? The Paragon Wiki makes it look like you could use it on the regular crafted IO Enhancements, but I am not totally sure and I am too scared to buy one and try to use it to find out since I don't use that many Enhancement sets.
