I'm kinda hoping they're going to spring some kind of surprise "meteor attack" event on us, but I'm fully expecting everything to be just presented as having happened and that we heroes did zip to try to stop any of it.

My bet is some sort of teleporting metors, so they shouldn't of hit but then suddenly they are blazing through the sky two seconds from impact.

Yep - I've got two characters at the end of their Praetorian careers ready for First Ward, I've got a couple new characters/rerolls ready to run the new lowbie content. And I've got my level 50 T4'd character ready to check out the underground trial... though I suppose I could be running some Keyes if i could find people running it - haven't ran it on live yet at all.

I... don't have pre-Freedom "blues." I haven't logged in in ages, but the fade-out began before they even announced Freedom so I can't really blame it. I got upset with certain people for certain reasons and, as usual, OOC messed up my enjoyment of the game rather than anything IC or game-wise. So I went off and did something useful with my time.
Eventually, I'll remember the people I miss RPing with and come back. Quite honestly, the entire set-up of Freedom pigs me off and I don't think the new Issue is going to be what makes me come back. I have no ideas for characters and I'm certainly not going to run plots.
So, no, Freedom's not why I'm not in game, though the abject stupidity of it doesn't help.
